Site Seo?

Guys can u help me in wordpress, how to do onsite seo and adding h1 tags and how to get seperate posts rank high in serps with on site seo.
I have searched through the forum and download sec and all i could find was local business seo books, lots of them but Nothing on doing good seo for my site and adding h1 and what else to do, All your help is deeply appreciated and will really help me. You can help in anyway, if u have a good seo optimising book or how to optimize wordpress site for serps, plugins, good converting adsense theme or anything else, Thanks.

If you search google for ' wordpress for dummies ', that will give you all the basics for how to edit, specifically handling your h1 tags, as well as everything else you could need to work with the script system.

As for the seo part of it. It isn't exactly the same as regular seo, as I'm sure you've discovered. To get you started, try some of the following suggestions:

* Social bookmark your posts.

* Build articles and backlinks ' TO ' and from your post links. ( This will build authority with your posts as content relevant to your keyword niche market.)

* Post relevant content and make every post you put up there COUNT for something. Don't waste precious real estate with chatter posts.

* Ping your blog regularly, infact, I do mine EVERYTIME I post in them.


It may sound like a lot of work but if you aren't willing to do it, someone else is and will block you from the gravy train riding on biscuit wheels until it is done.

Hope this helps you get started. Keep searching for your own methods of finding the books and if you can swing it, get a copy of Lynda.com's wordpress video set. Outstanding stuff and will walk you through the steps as they do them.

Thanks aftershock and am gonna search for that. I currently need as much on site on page optimization as possible and new to wordpress, backlinks will come after this, but still thanks. I am going to work hard on this and ping and bookmark and all. Anyone else has some good seo books for wordpress and tags,plugins themes and other optimizing tips, Thanks.
