Hi BHW
I was wondering if any of you have interesting stories or lessons about the stock exchange.
The reason I ask this is that I want to invest some money into Tesla and I'm not sure what to expect.
Currently, I work at an approved tesla body shop and I am responsible for the cars once they enter until they leave.
I have noticed 2 things about these cars:
One is that they have very high-end technology.
The second is that they are manufactured like toys. (really bad)
The main reason I want to invest in these cars is that I found out that Tesla is allowed to collect all data while the car is driving from the front, 4 sides, and the rear camera's.
This means Tesla currently has about 90 billion kilometers in data while BMW and Mercedes are around 1 Billion. (this data is needed to make and improve self-driving cars)
I'm not sure why they are allowed to do this, maybe because they are from America and you know how they can twist the law for their advantage.
I truly believe that the stocks for tesla will rise up duo the self-driving autopilot system.
After many re-calibrations and diagnostic fixes, I have to do at work I found out that this system is very advanced compared to the ADAS system on other cars.
Once tesla has a completely self-driving car that is better than humans (let's be honest humans drive stupid so the system only needs to be better, not perfect) the stock will rise up because of the system.
Truck companies could use these and prices would go down for everything.
So what would an experienced investor do in this situation?
I don't have much money, just about 20k in my bank that's it but I want to invest this money in something and I had this idea.
My other investment would be in VR technology but that's another topic.
Please keep in mind that Tesla is manufactured like shit and the parts are never delivered on time this could also have an influence on the stock in my opinion.
Please, write some stories about what you learned while investing in the past. This could help me change my mind.
TLDR; I want to invest in Tesla because they are making a self-driving AI car that drives better and safer than humans.
