Hello there,

I have been writing quite a lot lately, i have published many good articles on my blog and i keep producing around two each week.

Most of my articles are in the first page, but at the bottom around 7th and 8th position. My competition almost have no backlinks, so i believe my articles need a little push.

With that said, while doing so, i'm contacting sites to get backlinks from them, i'm getting some responses, but this gets me thinking, what would be the best strategy for this?

Should i concentrate on one article until i improve its ranking or should i spread my backlinks across different articles while acquiring new backlinks?

I'm curious to know your expert's opinion.

Thank you

Interlink them and try And build as many links on various articles

Will do thank you. I see what you mean, after reading your suggestion it came to me that your advice is the best course of action to follow for two reasons:
- It will seem unnatural to google that all my new backlinks are going to the same page all of a sudden instead of being diversified.
- I should not put all my eggs into one basket.

Thank you @Mr Positive

If the articles are relevant it is better to Interlink them as it proves more effective. No of backlinks would depend on many factors, one of the most crucial one is your budget. So plan accordingly. Personally i would suggest to go for backlinks for multiple posts.
