Shopify Payment Gateway Solution Europe (Dropshipping)

Hi,

have anybody ever experienced some Payment Gateaway which works in the East-Middle Europe?
I have a dropshipping store on Shopify but I am not able to accept bank cards unless the customers use the PayPal to pay. I am already using the PayPal Express Checkout but I still have a lot of abandoned carts. I am doing free shipping.

In our country we have only these according to the Shopify info:
2Checkout
Authorize.net
PAYMILL
Realex Payments
Skrill
WorldPay

I've filed the request to beeing able to use this provider on my Shopify store but in PAYMILL they told me that there is something wrong between them adn the Shopify so they will let me know adter it will be resolved so I will be able to use them.
At Skrill I have already requested but they sent me an email saying that I will be contacted soon... It never happened (it's 7 days from that email and nothing happened).
2Checkout seems OK but I need to provide electricity, water, gas - this kind of bill, but my name is not figuring on the bills so I am curious if they will accept it or what?
Authorize.net - shopify says that this is a payment provider which is available in our country but if I try to sign up they only offering USA or Canada.
Realex payments don't allow to sign up with my country.
At the WorldPay there is only application by giving them your phone number and they will call you, but I have heard that they are not offering the dropshipping option.

Does anybody know waht can I do to be able to accept the credit adn bank cards?

What is your native pay processor? They should have a API you can use.

I am using the PayPal Express Checkout as a main pay processor - but the customers needs to have a PayPal account to be able to pay on my store.

Yeah I understand but what is your native payment gateway, for example, for my country and I think sometimes in Belgium it's Idea, what's yours?

I got you. In our country there is no leader in payment gateways...every shop has the gateway which best fits for them so there are like a several (8) gateways that the shops use. Every bank has their own gateway so like I said there is nothing like a native payment gateaway. Maybe I think there is one the GoPay which has the majority of the market under their wings but nothing like a monopol, you now what I mean.

I am from EU as well and applied for PAYMILL too. It was about 10 days ago. My shop wasn't built yet, so they asked me to add some additional info in to site, like Privacy Policy, Returns, etc.. and get back to them. Didn't done that yet but I will soon.

By the way, as far as I know, customers don't need to have PP account in order to pay with a credit card via PayPal Express Checkout. Anyway, PP is a pain in the ass and I need PAYMILL badly. So we are in the same boat. Let's hope they will solve issues with Shopify soon.

I'm curious to know how one can withdraw from Paymill. I couldn't find any info related to this on thei website.

You link your local bank account with them and they payout your funds once per week. $100 EUR is a minimum https://www.paymill.com/en/faq/how-does-the-payment-flow-work

Yeah you are right. People can pay with a credit or bank card and still must not have a PP account. So what is the main reason people don't want to buy with a PP? They don't trust the company?

I guess they think you're not a professional if you only use pp.

Thanks. Seems like they should solve this soon. People highly trust PP because it's VERY buyer friendly, but unfortunately not so seller friendly. After 10 sales or so, they usually froze you funds for 21 days to protect buyers. It last about two months and they usually let you go, but if you get several charge backs, etc.. they also often limit you account and then you are simply fucked.

Also avoid 2Checkout as they love to hold your money as well. Paymill is the best bet from your list.

For some of my stores I am using 2checkout.

You can integrate only their gateway and they offer pp in it also so you get CC+PP

Keep in mind that they will keep 10% of the profit for few weeks before release, but when you start selling you can contact your manager and talk to him for some preference (special) conditions, ofc make a story.

In some countries they need to have a PP account. I had a customer from the Czech republic ( EU ) and she didn't have an option to pay as a guest.

No problems once you provide the documents they need and once your site meets their req.
