Serious question:

I have recently created a page on Instagram. It’s only got about 20 followers. I have two posts on there with similar hashtags.. one post has generated over 800 likes and the other is growing and over 350 now.
The largest majority of my impressions are telling me they are coming from hashtags... I click the hashtags I have in my comments and yet, I cannot find my posts anywhere to be found. I do have some smaller hashtags as well, one has 1000+ posts, but still... the post was really far down oddly enough.
The posts are getting organic traffic, ive checked the accounts of the majority of the users and they are all in the niche of the page.
My question is.... what hashtags are these people finding me from and how? Why are my posts not showing up on top ranked hashtags, but still getting decent engagement, especially for a page that is as small as this one.

Not sure if the insights here are of any use to anyone with knowledge on this... but the shares and everything I do believe proves the traffic and engagement is organic. So I’m at a lose right now.

The hashtags are a bit complicated case. What i mean by that is that noone really knows exactly what are the hashtags people used to find you or what are the best hashtags that someone can use every time in general and get the best results. Because your account is new IG is giving you a small boost, so it will show your posts to more people, but not the amount that is needed to constantly hit top ranked hashtags. To hit the top rated hashtags you must have great engagement, great content and your account must be a bit older. Your engagement probably will fall after some time, but it will get better as you get more and more followers.

There is a really simple trick, in post bio put "Follow the page for daily uploads".
If you google this its a psicological trick to get the follow rate to grow.

I've tested myself, it works.

Oh and about the tags, use low competitive hashtags and that you way to start.

Are you using low competition hashtags ? because with this amount of follower it would hard to rank on high comp. hashtags
