Seemingly Good Start but Stuck...Any advice appreciated!!!

Hey Guys!

First, I want to thank you all for all of the help and information you put out there! Maybe you could provide some help for my situation.

I learned to make websites. I have set up a woocommerce website with a downloadable product. The product generally can be sold for between $3 - $10. My main avenue for traffic has been facebook. It is a very specific niche that I can target really well. I've tried several ad campaigns and barely make (if even) enough to cover the $20 a day ad costs.

I did giveaway a free download and did obtain names, addresses, and email address of 2,200 people that downloaded my product. I tried emailing them, offering them more but found most of my emails were going unread and ending up in "junk folders" through Get Response.

So I have this list, I have names, and my facebook ads are not cutting it. I can generally get my Facebook ads to specifically target about 300,000 - 500,000 people. This niche is somewhat of a buying group, according to others that have found this niche. My question is, how do you monetize this? I'm unable to locate and effectively use an email service and convert it into $$$

Any tips, advice, is appreciated or if you just want to give me shit, that is fine too...

What email service are you using? @davids355 has a post about Mailchimp sucking pretty hard for email lists.

Have you tried remarketing on FB rather than FB ads?

Have you tried PPC?

I have you tried CPC, CPA, or CPM marketing?

Have you reached out to content creators within your niche?

I was using "Get Response". I researched pretty thoroughly and they seemed to be the pick. But after dozens of weak numbers of people opening them and checking test accounts, I realized people just don't check junk mail or "promotions" in gmail. I've tried ppc through google, but it was not cutting it.

I had my content professionally created (I bought it from someone who works in the niche). So I own 18 different downloadable products and paid a graphic artist to create attractive covers. I have tried and failed numerous times at numerous things and I'm just out of ideas. I've done pinterest mass postings, which has been the best at getting organic traffic.

Do I just keep plugging away and develop a bigger "list" by giving things away? I've done price bracketing to sell in bundles and increase sales. I've offered coupons for substantial discounts. I'm just unsure of what path to go down. The ads come close to breaking even, if not make a little money but nothing substantial. If I continue to grow my list, what is the best mail service?

I appreciate the tips SEOMemi! I guess maybe I"m just venting cause I'm lost.

The one last final thought I had was to turn my website into a marketplace for others to sell their downloads, thus bringing loyal traffic and taking rips on transactions....thoughts on that? Maybe that is what I pursue when I grow my list?
