Just searched in Google and I can't find the site too, it looks like they have been deindexed.
I did few quick checks and SEJ is not blocking google bot in any way...
I guess they're penalized or it's some google bug?
It'll be hilarious to see whitehat's reactions if it's a penalty. But even if they're penalized I guess Google will remove the penalty really fast, this have happened with other high profile sites before

I would say its not related that thing.

I found same thing happen to another big site several months ago, then some days later, everything is okay, so I guess its a bug.

PS: OP how about your "auto parse HTML" project going? Do u still remember me? We talked about that thing months ago, Did u get any good findings later? Very eager to know!
