Hey guys and girls, I have not done this in quite some time and I see not a lot of people share this info. SO ... with that being said here is a list of Wordpress plugins that I use on a daily basis.

Feel free to add any others that are useful and important when running a Wordpress site!

Here is my 2016 list, and once again feel free to add :)

To install any of these plugins ADD plugin in the backend of your Wordpress website and search by name.

Just a little heads up, I try to limit the amount of plugins in Wordpress do to loading etc... so all of these plugins are the bare minimum code add-ons. Meaning, they are small in size and work without any issues. Hope this helps the novice as well as the pros.

Wordfence would have reduced at least using 3 plugins from that list.

    Nice idea and nice list.
There are a few that I would add:

-wordfence - this is an amazing plugin and has nulified the threat from persistent hackers on many of my sites.
-admin menu hider - this is great if you sell wordpress sites to clients and you want to hide unrequired menu items in admin.
-Under Construction - by Noah Kagan - another great planning if you sell websites and want to make holding page with IP exceptions.
-visual composer - its an absolute must have if you want to make updating your site as easy as possible (Not free)
-revolution sider - its not free either but its the best slider plugin.
-duplicate page - by mndpsingh287 - great plugin if you want to copy an existing page - if you have certain layout etc.

I would add "All in One SEO" to the list as it can cover sitemap, page speed, bot blocking & SEO functions, basically can do the job of 3/4 different plugins.

If you don't mind, here are a few suggestions:

    1) Instead of using EWWW Image Optimizer, I use kraken.io first to reduce the size of the images by as much as 70-80% (and still maintain quality) and then upload them to Amazon S3 and use the direct image links in my posts.
    2) I also use online free services & software for watermarking images in bulk, so that means DX-Watermark is useless.
    3) I think Yoast has the option to delete archives as well, so I'm not sure why you need Archive Disabler plugin.
    4) To get the real bounce rate in GA, you can just add a custom snippet code in your pages, therefore reducing the need for the "Reduce Bounce Rate" plugin.
    5) 301 redirects can be handled with .htaccess (codes are available online for free), so again, you don't need "Simple 301 Redirects" plugin.
    6) WP Sitemap Page will fuck up your on-site SEO and keyword density balances, I can guarantee you this 100%. A related posts plugin (such as YARPP) used in moderation (meaning do not go crazy on how many related posts you display on each page) would be a better idea. This plugin, coupled with your site navigation menu, is more than enough to ensure good user experience, better time-on-site and most importantly not fuck up your on-site SEO.
    7) I am not sure what "WP HTTPS (SSL)" does exactly, but installing a SSL certificate on your site is enough (if you really need the certificate that is), so you don't really need this plugin too.

In my count, that's at least 5-6 less plugins. I keep a very minimal number of plugins in my WP sites and do things manually in-code whenever I can. It's better to spend a couple minutes to add a snippet code to your WP files instead of installing a plugin that takes up space and resources 90% of the times you don't use it. This practice + SSD-powered VPS/dedi + CDN makes sure my sites load in less than 1 second.

Only problem I have with this is the fact that the more plugins, the worse your site will run. With this many plugins off the bat you're looking at a ton of loading time. I think for speed, EWWW optimizer and W3 Cache is about all you need. You can use W3 to set up caching, GZIP which makes your site significantly faster instantly, and much more.
