Running a business without education

Here is an article:

So the thing is that the person who is educated and doing good( the regular) in his job and the person who is not educated but is doing better and going toe to toe with the educated guy, so both are doing good in their own right so who wins it?

I can assure you majority of the people who go for a job have one aim in mind and that is making money and then we have business wherein one can make shit ton of money as opposed to a job but in job you can make a lot only if you make it to the management level position and everyone cannot!

Both are happy? Win. Win.

I think a job offers security, peace of mind and of course a wage. I don't think working for someone and working for your self is any different, both should be commended! Both have positives as well as negatives.

A private job is never safe who said a job is safe even the performers get fired any given day!

Aye but in the context of a job it is secure? Obviously roles and specific types and contracts may change that but most people go / get one for the security reasons as well as money.

But they are part of the rat race right?

What do you think about them being a worker because at end of the day you are a worker and you don't get to call the shots!

Success in any business has absolutely NOTHING to do with academic education. It has to do with KNOWLEDGE of the particular business, HARD WORK, SMART WORK and COMMON SENSE. Even as of today, majority of the well know successful business people DO NOT have academic degrees. So, DO NOT limit your possibilities based on what "normal" people tell you.

That's basically the plan but then again the kind of look they give you which shows their maturity level honestly!

it doesn't matter as their looks turn into jealousy over time. Take my case for example:

I dropped out of diploma in CS in 2016. People started talking bad about me. Telling other people I am a waste. My relatives started thinking of me as a waste and shame to my family

Two years later (August 2018), i started making more money than any of their children with master's degrees. It wasn't consistent for year. But by end of 2019, i am consistently making $1000 a month. And relative's children with master degrees make $300-400 a month. $1000 per month in india is a lot of money

If i took regular route, go to college and get job in corporate then it will take me at least 5-6 years to get $1000 per month salary

People who used to talk shit about me now have dick in their mouth

My parents were always supportive. My father is a businessman. He runs a sizing machine manufacturing company. But he is only ITI. He started from 0 money to 5 Crore turnover business

That's so cool!

You can achieve more success once you don't give shit what people will say behind your back!

That has always been the biggest deal breaker for everyone around "What will people say behind your back!"

Be very careful if you come from poor. Everybody around you is poor and nobody knows anything about anything.

Legal advice? Tax advise? Business advice? Serious or even casual conversation about these things with the poor people that surround you will not help you.

Then you also didnt get any education, not the knowledge and not the connections that would come from it.

Youre gonna go to a lawyer and get the advice that best serves him. Youre gonna go to an accountant and get advice that best serves him.

Youre poor, you know nothing, and nobody around you knows anything about anything at all.

Youre gonna have to figure out everything on your own.

Good luck, asshole, youre gonna need it.

Youre fucked.

I am so happy to know BHW peeps are way mature at their age than old retards who have no fucking clue as to what we do, where we are heading. Just because their kids are educated and having a good job in an IT company makes them go jealous about other people's kids

So happy that you guys do not judge a person by his education, his earnings

It's funny when people like these suggest you to look for a job somewhere else when they do not even know what the term digital marketing even means!

Education definitely matters. Even more so, your willingness to learn and staying open-minded.

Finished Masters degree, I don't think I am using the "knowledge" gained there, but the higher education also helps think independent and act professional.

In the end, its all about you, though do invest your time into becoming smarter one way or another. University, practice, books - you choose what best fits you.

I never did reply...

Yes but then some people are just happy doing that. My wife for example works in education is a deputy head and is training to become a head teacher.. She also runs a consulting business on the site and a training company the stress she has chasing people for payment she's going to finish both the site line business (they both bring in a mid 5 figure income a year) but the stress for her is simply not worth it.

Many would agree as well and some just want a pay cheque go on holiday, save up money and retire. People are happy with just that.

Calling the shots as well that's another thing totally not everyone can be a leader. Not all cope with pressure working for your self is a high pressured task. IT get's much worse if you have bills, family, kids all depending on you most crack under that pressure and worse still many don't recover.

I think everyone is different and that's life if we where all the same it would be boring.

I also think if you want to work, you work, some are just happy doing the same old thing day in day out and that's OK. It's not on us to judge :) Self Employed or Working for someone else or not working at all... as long as you are happy that's all that matters.

yes. that's not a problem at all. i respect people's decision to live a peaceful life with stable income

Problem is when these stable income people look down upon people like me who took different path in life. It doesn't affect me, but it stops other people who want to take different paths in life going against norms

Dunno... Depends on what job you refer to really... I think most government roles are down to who you know more than your education background.. I've had plenty of work from the government just down to who I know more than anything else. "Education" tho is role specific id rather have a fully educated and qualified doctor vs some guy who spent 6 months on youtube BUT then when you look at some of the scandals or issues that come out from "professionals" I don't think id be any worse off...
IT jobs.
