So I think I found a decent longtail.. but i'm not quite sure of it. looking to ask for second opinions. I did a quick google search of the longtail, and only 3 results in the first 11 results has the EXACT longtail. But the other results has the longtail somewhere in it's paragraphs/links. I'm really not sure if I should ditch this longtail or continue on it. Also, SEOquake says that the keyword difficulty is 91.17%. any opinions? followup question: are 10k-100k seaches a month fine? I seem to not understand if I should prioritize avg monthly searches, competition(low, med, high), or suggested bid.
Search volume is good. Competition is low which means it might be hard to make money from the keyword. but suggested bid is ok. The things I would be asking is - 1.Are there advertisers on adwords for the keyword and/or are there any monetisation options 2.What type of domains are currently ranking - are there any authority / well known sites / brands in top 5? 3.What sort of content is in the top 10 - can you replicate this content on your own site? 4.What sort of metrics are the currently ranking sites, how many / quality of backlinks etc
damn I always thought low competition is always good. 1. I don't know how to know exactly if there are advertisers for the specific keyword, but imo most likely there are. It's in the field of health/food/fitness. 2. In the top 11 results, there are 2 authority sites. 1 of them is wikihow. Please take into account though, that on the top 11, only 3 has the EXACT longtail. some of them have the longtail somewhere in the paragraphs. I'm not sure if this is fine or not. 3. I think I can. They're also old. one on 1996, one on 2004. 4. Sorry but I'm new on seoquake and I don't know how to use it that much yet. Top 1 result seoquake:
