In the future I plan to create a new telegram account for long-term usage. Don’t want physical SIM, so there’s 2 other ways as I know of: eSIM or VoIP (Virtual phone number). Yea I may only use the number for SMS verification, but I still want to have “unique number” for long-term. Plus it would be neat for other soc media’s too. I have couple, kinda, newbie questions

I have heard that VoIP numbers, like google voice, are being banned on Twitter and I wanna know if that is true and if it also happens with Telegram?

Now when it comes to eSIM’s they’re very cheap in my country (2nd world) but does Telegram, Twitter and other soc media apps accept eSIM? or they have same scrutiny towards it as with virtual numbers and at any moment they could get banned too?

Oh btw, do you have to pay monthly fees just to keep the eSIM number, like it is with VoIP’s? that’s not the problem for me with eSIM, just asking because all of them seem to have some sort of package of like how much MB of internet you get and “infinite SMS, 50 min of talk” and stuff like that. Is that monthly in general even if you have it idle all the time and barely use it? Or what’s up with that?

Aside the price and all that, in long term perspective which one do you think is better "investment", eSIM of VoIP (so which is less likely to be banned, become more accepted by soc medias, etc)?

Hello, You can use google voice for telegram.
Virtual numbers other than Google Voice may not be reliable.
Thanks, didn't know google voice would be the one that's actually ok lol, unfortunately it always says "not supported in your country". Probably VPN or proxy will solve that, but that's extra cost for the sake of account verification purpose only :(

what about eSIMs in general btw? is it fine for Telegram and other soc media acc's?

You can go for e-sims but the only problem that you can face is that you will have to register them on your identity if you purchase them in your country like a regular sim and there is also a limit for number of sims. If you get those, you will not have to pay any monthly fee. You will have to pay only one-time purchasing amount and you can have them forever.
