The limit guarentess that you don't exceed the specified amount, it doesn guarentee that it will be reached tho since that depends on your settings/sources.

I understand that. However, with the same settings for 9 months I used to always hit or get near the limit number. Now I don't get anywhere near. Progress has slowed dramatically, something has changed across the board on all accounts. What's the solution to getting back up to speed? Increase the limits to highly aggressive numbers? That concerns me

I've been using the tool for a long time now, maybe 9 months and all have been great. I've got about 35 accounts running and very happy with growth. My best account was gaining 1000-1200 followers per day, many accounts between 100 - 500 per day. However, something dramatic has changed in the last couple of weeks, I let it breathe a little to see if it would change but it hasn't. I was getting those great numbers for months, now, the 1000-1200 account is at best getting 150 per day, and the rest between 0-50. Any ideas what happened? What changed? My settings are the same. Even some where I'm set to follow 500-800 per day don't ever seem to follow more than 150. The numbers I set don't get met.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What settings were you using to get 1000 a day? Can you link to a template?

It seems like this software has a little bit of a bottleneck for power users. It often takes 7+ entire minutes just to scrape 20 users from an account with millions of followers. My settings aren't too strict - very basic things anyone would want to filter. For someone who wants to interact with 2000 users per day, this extreme scraping delay makes it impossible.

Jarvee seems to be able to complete an operation in about 2/3 this time on average, but I cannot confirm it is better because I cannot see the details of how many people it interacts with per operation, and it doesn't give daily stats like GMT does...sigh.

Can't you simply lower the scrapping delay? They do have this option.

How can I set the repost module to repost only the photos/videos that match filter settings from a single username? I add the username, select Caption field to [OG_CAP] and the program reposts one image without any caption, source account gets removed. If I try to edit "Posts per User" field, it doesn't allow me to increase it to more than 18.
What exactly is the purpose of the repost module if it can't do basic random reposting? I know I can set up the reposting via Push action module, but since I'm handling bulk accounts I don't want all of them posting the same post in exactly the same time. Am I missing something or is it really impossible to do this with GMT2?

Yes, it is: the blacklist section (like in the F/U modules) has been implemented but I'm still investigating on how it works in details cause I got a lot of duplicate too.
I'm reposting from accounts following a certain big account...but it still repost the same 4/5 pictures...
Maybe my filters are not optimied! I'll study it more.
