Just to let you all know that I got the refund. mindmaster is a man of his word. You can tell by his successful BST threads that this guy is not bullshitting you. I figured his partner took some time to respond probably because of the holiday season.

It's really not a big amount but I don't like paying for tools that I will have to get used to from scratch, especially if there are other good alternatives out there which are already working for me. I think for this KW research tool the developer needs to work a little more on the UI/UX as well. There's an industry standard in terms of usability on all KW tools, they have similar interfaces and that is what people are used to. If you're going to build something entirely new which people would have to learn from scratch then you are already killing your market. Unless your KW tool spits out gold nuggets automatically or with really less effort (which is pretty much impossible for any KW tool).
