We are now checking for backlink count as well. Currently we use google 'link:domain.com' parameter.
In the future update, we are considering to implement MOZ for backlinks check.

Here are some of the factors checked for competition analysis:
response time, facebook count, google count, twitter count, pinterest count, linkedin count, in title, in header, in url, Pr check, domain age, index count, backlink count, domain backlink count and alexa count.

Review:
I received a trial/review copy for 1 day. First of all, this is a very easy tool to work with. You can generate a lot of keywords in seconds.

Secondly, I think the keyword competition score is pretty accurate, tried it on some keywords I use and I know their competition from personal experience. It needs proxies for keyword competition analysis and I used some free/public ones without having any problem.(except from the thing that it is a bit slow for each keyword and it takes lot of time to check a lot of keywords). It is a very good tool overall.

I have used many other keyword tools before but this one is fastest. Easily generate high value keywords without any problems.

Pros:
Keyword difficulty is quite accurate.
Works with public proxies.
Speed is good.
Easy to use user interface.

Cons:
Sometimes freezes up while keyword difficulty analysis.

Overall good performance.
Highly Recommended Tool.

The program is NOT working for me. I have contacted Rob. He responded once. Twice since then I emailed him back and have heard NOTHING.

Program just CONTINUOUSLY loops in the Monthly tab where it is supposed to pull monthly searches from adwords. Logs in fine and gets to the point where it copies keywords but will NOT hit the button get them. After about 15-20 seconds it loops back and ends up copying the keywords again.

Rob said this was a common issue solved by updating I.E. to lastest version. I'm using 11. Nothing to update. Windows update is totally updated. I uninstalled and reinstalled your program twice as well. No difference.

So far this is ANYTHING BUT impressive.

With private proxies it runs fast. Although public proxies will work they will run slower.
