I find the Outbound Link Checker plugin extremely memory hungry. It may have a leak or it may be so coded, but it grows out of proportion and crashes. To give an estimate, on my windows 7 machine with quad core and (only) 2 gig of ram, a list of 10k urls loaded in the OBL checker will result in a process that's about 1gig in memory space. I believe this is something Sweetfunny could have a look at. Thanks!

I just loaded a 100k list into it, and it went to max 118MB only.
I am using Win 7 64 bit.
I guess its your url list, containing file downloads or so.

I came back to the UK on sept and i tried to transfer the license on my computer i was using it before but nothing... i email-ed them many times but noone answered to my mails. they didnt even refund me.
Service = awful and 60$ for nothing!

Right, whatever you say Captain 14 posts. If your hardware ID was blacklisted then is probably because you tried to defraud scrapebox. They don't just go around telling people they can't have their product. They want people to use it you know, the more people that use it, the more word of mouth promo they get, the more sales they get.

I call your bluff and say you are the problem not scrapebox.

They don't offer refunds, except in rare cases, as per their refund policy:

But the complaints you have read are either bad data or user error. I run scrapebox across servers around the world and many instances per server. I run 30+ instances on my servers and monitor another 30+ for another company. All is well on those 60+ copies that run 24/7.

You do need to take some time to think things thru, test and understand. This is a powerful tool, and as such can't be mastered overnight. I have been using it for close to 2 years and I still learn new things. You will love it though, and if used correctly it can make you a lot of cash.

I've been using SB just fine for over a year now but encountered a problem yesterday. When verifying my license I get the error message, "It almost looks like something id blocking Scrapebox, or is modifying the tcp data we received from the server!". I'm getting it again today.

Running it on an xsserver vps.

You know, my first reaction to your original post was similar to loopline's. But I was thinking about it a bit before you posted this, and especially now that you have said "I can give you my transaction ID"...if you ever posted your transaction ID publicly or shared that data with someone else, it could have been jacked. Sweetfunny and others have repeatedly warned people about the dangers of posting their transaction ID in public.

It's just a thought.

You or someone you work with may be a scammer, or you or someone you work with may have exposed or inadvertently mis-used data about your sbox license. Given the track record of Sweetfunny, and my own interactions with SF, I am sure she's not scamming or screwing you. That's on you or whoever gave up or got your license data. I can assure you of that. There's something hinky that went down and caused you to get blocked.

Xsserver is Stupid. There I said it. lol I used them, hated them, and fired them. However in the process I had a similar experience. Just out of the clear blue, all as well and bam, scrapebox gave the same error your getting.

XS just decided to mess with their routers or something and started blocking the primary activation server for scrapebox or messing with the data. Be it from faulty equipment or ignorance I don't know. If you do a help >> test server connection are the lights for the secondary server all green and you get 1 or more red lights on the primary server? Thats what happend to me.

I forced scrapebox to authenticate from the 2ndary server. Go to your scrapebox folder >> configuration >> scrapebox.ini

Find this line

ServerReverse=0

change it to

ServerReverse=1


Then go to settings >> Select Download Server

and choose server #2.


This isn't the ideal setup for reasons which I won't go into, but it worked. Most likely if you do a Test server connection in a few days you will see all 6 green lights. At which point it would be advisable to change back to download server 1 and change your ini file back to

ServerReverse=0


It took them 3-4 days before mine just started working again as randomly as it had quit.

Although yours could be a different issue of course, but its got all the symptoms of what happened to me.

I can agree with that. Check if Host Winds supports Scrapebox on their servers, if not, I use Volume Drive.

most problems with s/box are down to user error
very very rare is it from s/box its self

Update your scrapebox. It was fixed only hours after google made the changes and that was over 2 weeks ago if memory serves me. The first thing to do when something isn't working is to update to the latest version as there is a good chance its fixed.

12 hours is pretty quick and I have never actually had it take that long. Hang in there, its worth it.

Hmm, well yes something is blocking scrapeboxs internet access all the way around. Did you install any anti-virus software or maleware checkers? If so double check them to make sure that you have allowed scrapebox in them and delete any existing rules for scrapebox.

Also if you haven't already, add allow rules to the windows firewall or any other firewall that you have on that box.

You could try and restart the box too, I dunno that that would help, but it wouldn't hurt.

Update your scrapebox, it was fixed 2+ weeks ago.
