Yes, thanks a lot.Nobody could answer that with 100% certainty but it is a widely accepted fact that a link (without the nofollow attribute) with your keywords as anchor text (in this case in the name field) would pass on PR and anchor text to your url and thus 'boosting' your ranking.
However, some (including me) will also say that the 'no-follow' attribute will not prevent from at least some juice to be passed on.
So in short: if you use your keyword as name on a 'do-follow' blog than you can be 'sure' that pr and anchor text is passed on. If you don't use an anchortext it is still a backlink and will still account for something but perhaps something a little less.
Hope that made sense?

Well, that is the point. I merely asked because I have been reading this whole thread (still not finished, lol), because I want to learn and I don't want to be asking questions that have been answered a million times before. So one of the questions I could not figure out from watching the vid's from Scrapebox and Loopline and reading trough this thread and also the official / unofficial user guide was the one above. And you are right, I wouldn't mess with something I don't know what it is. But that's another reason I ask, so I do know why to mess or not to mess with a feature or settingWhy mess with it if you don't know what it is. If ScrapeBox is working the way you want it to, then why change it?
Quick question: Is there any advantage in using 10 private proxies + 50 public proxies, over just 10 private proxies? I've been using private proxies for a while, but read a lot of posts where people are using a combination. Any reason for this?
What is the Unlock button in the manage proxies for? It isn't mentioned anywhere in this thread (at least not the last 80 pages or so an was only mentioned very quickly in one of Matt's vid's as I recall?
If some of the proxies that you tested are blocked you can hit the unlock button and it will go thru the list and try to unlock them.
You might have to enter some captchas in the process.
Just have a quick quesiton. You install scrapebox on the computer right? Not as a script on the website etc?
Im not sure but I think the new harvester only shows passes or failed. I dont think it shows blocked. Do you use the old harvester?

Yeah your right, only the old proxy harvester works with the unlock button.
Thanks you guys for clearing up what the unlock button is for. But I'm using the new proxy harvester, but I still see the Unlock button???? :scratchch
Yeah but it wont work. It will just return a message that there weren't any proxies to unlock or something similar.
I find the new harvester when testing proxies is better, tends to return more working proxies.
