I run SB using Windows 2003 VPS with no problem whatsoever, one thing you should think about is plan to take 1 gig ram or more because mine is 512k and sometimes using slow commenter it will push the ram to the limit after 5000 or so post, i let it run while im asleep and it often crash in the middle when trying to post to 10000 blogs :(

My one keeps on crashing. In fact both exe files get deleted automatically after every crash, I'm unsure whether it's my anti-virus or some kind of bug... Can please some body tell me about same.

When the SB exe file gets deleted, then it looks more like your AV is killing it... SB cannot delete itself.
 
Bought this a couple of hours ago and I really like. I am starting to get familar with it, but I have a few questions. Just to start of I am fairly new to this, so bear with me. My first question involves the captcha option. I was wondering which sites this would be used for? Do some of the blogs require it?

ALso, if google blocks your ip, does that pretty much screw up all the comments you made on that IP?

  • New: Blog Size Limit setting to specify the maximum page size ScrapeBox will load to prevent freezing due to large pages.
  • Enhanced: Multi-Threaded Harvester faster and uses far less bandwidth.
  • Enhanced: RSS Ping handling of feed headers.

The blog size limit has an option in the Settings menu, you can adjust it from 512KB to 4096KB. This will prevent any attempt to load massive pages, there's some BlogEngine pages i've found where the HTML is over 12MB in size and even loading them in Chrome/Opera crashes the browsers.

So hopefully this will clear up some of the problems.
 
@ Sweetfunny - the fake pr addon always seem to show error01 or just shows error0 for some reason?

Sometimes it will show the fake pr pf the odd domain but most it just seems to baill out.

Also I am going to buy another copy for a spare laptop, am I right in guessing I can just use the same details from same paypal account and that wouldnt affect my current licence?
 
hey Sweetfunny,I have a problem with a commenter, I have error "-Failed, discarded" on the first comment failed and after that stops???? any idea?
Scraping works fine.

Is it possible to use special characters dedicated to my language (polish) like

ęćźż ? How do i encode my keywords so that scrapebox can pass them to google without messing up special chars ?

Please try to update the addon.
 
After the update not 80% Error0 only 50% (but its better than before, yes :) )

What is Error0 meaning? Site not in the index, SB error, Google Error...other Error?
 
Just tested, I am getting 0 errors with my private proxies using the Fake PR checker V1.0.0.3.
Maybe your proxies IP's are blocked already by google, who knows.

The captcha option is used if and when sbox encounters a comment form that has a captcha on it to be solved before you can submit your comment. If you don't use the captcha solving, sbox will just fail on any comment forms that present captchas. If you use the solving, sbox will pass the captcha to your chosen captcha breaker service.

If your IP is blocked by goog, that stops your ability to harvest data from goog for awhile (usually several hours) - so harvesting URL's, pagerank, etc. from goog gets stopped if they block your IP. You should really take a look at the youtube sbox videos and especially read a bit about proxies before using this too much. Proxies are pretty important.
 
Have you try to use Ping to leave referer on awstats and webalizer like PRStorm do?

I have tried it with SB and even with PRStorm on my 2 sites with awstats and nothing happened - referer wasn't shown.... Maybe they change sth in awstats and it doesn;t work any more?

There is a addon for SB that finds the sites with malware/shit/scum and gives you the chance to delete them before commenting. You normally will only get the prompts to say your AV has defended your pc and thats it!

I crawl/post/scrap every day and never had a problem at all
 
1) Is there a way to find **************** blogs only?
2) Is there a video or a post explaining all the addons step by step?
