So i got the crashdump log to work finally and when the program crashed it saved the URLS but i still dont know why its crashing to begin with.

I turned off my AV and tried to load the list of 310K keyword list and so far 45 minutes ive been waiting and still hasnt started harvesting yet.

I send you logs every time it crashes so hope you can look them over.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The same thing here. I am on win7. And by the way RSS pinging sometimes does the same tricks!

I dont think it has something to do with spinning because it makes no sense. If your spinned comments are fine when you use the test-button then its no difference between this and using unspinned comments. Because the comments are only sent as ready made text.

Agreed and that's really bad advice to not use the spintax. If a user is getting HTTP 500 errors when posting, it's either not the spintax causing it or they're doing something horribly horribly horribly wrong with the spinning. I'm not even sure how I could get an app to throw 500's that way....

The spintax is one of several elements that will help you stay off the spam cops' radar. It's standard spinning syntax, and as SJu says, sbox even has a validator that will check your spintax for errors (like forgetting to close a bracket set...not that I've ever done that lol).

@OP about spinning - post an example piece of spintax if you want us to look at it and see if there's something wrong.

Could anyone explain me what is the difference between two features in Scrapebox

2. Ping tool ?

It seems like both do the same.

No they're different. From the indexer description:

Rapid Index allows you to submit your website to various statistic, whois and similar sites, which can assist with rapid indexing

Ping Mode sends referrer hits, and works in the same fashion as PRStorm. It?s useful in a number of ways, for example..

• Artificially inflate the traffic to your domains, be prepared when affiliate companies ask ?Where is your traffic coming from?. You can add your domain to one file and place a list of sites you want to show as your traffic sources in the other, this could be sites that do have a link to yours (Collect them with the harvester with a link: footprint) or it could be Google search strings for phrases you rank for to make it appear you receive a lot of organic traffic. Yesterday I gatered 1,000,000 URLs, but after deleting all duplicates I got only 25,000. I think author should fix it like is done in Hrefer for example ,Hrefer deletes duplicates during gatering process, this is great becasue as a result I get 0 duplicates , therefore usin gHrefer I can gather uncomparable more than using Scrapebox. In scrapebox is limit of 1,000,000 gatered URLs that is very bad because I can`t collect at once more than 20 - 30 thousand URLs after deleting duplicates, when using Hrefer I could easily get 10 times more.

Deleting dupes during harvest is a horrible idea.

Sounds like a good idea to me. You think you have 1m url's only to find it is down to 25000 when you remove duplicates. You post these to Wordpress and only get 100 links.

Do you own SB or are you considering it? If you do not own it, buy it because it is excellent value for money. No I am not associated with the author.

SB helped me pick up a couple of good domains last week (Go Daddy have just confirmed the transfers).

In the Add ons there is the TDNAM tool to scrape recently expired domains. I put in my niche and was amazed to see what I thought was one of my domains had expired. Turns out it was the plural of one of my domains that I wanted to buy when I originally bought the domain. Now own the plural domain.

Another was an excellent, 10 year old domain for my niche. Just bought another belonging to one of my competitors.

After the TDNAM add on you can try the Whois addon and then the PR scrape.

Malware Question:

If you use Scrapebox and you try posting to a site that is infected, will that site load as if you visited the URL yourself, and will your computer get infected?

I got the ave.exe virus (which was a hassle to remove) and I'm pretty sure it is from the scenario mentioned above.

I get infected websites all the time, and avg just prompts to say that the virus has been detected and nothing more than that!

I loaded up the links that SB said had successful postings. I even saved this list. Here it is

I loaded firefox looking for my entries but there are nowhere. Then at the bottom of each of these sites it says;

So if that is true why is SB saying that its posted when i can clearly see it did nothing.

I cant get this thing working. Spent 8hrs on this and nothing is working! I have already wasted so much time doing this. Time is money. Why doesnt this application work properly??????????

Why doesnt SB simply skip these types of sites including sites that require captcha instead of reporting false postings. Does this mean i have to check each and every link manually?????

I have tried to have it comment on 2000 blogs so far, about 50% success rate. When I go to check the links I get ZERO results.

Try the simple 'wonderful site, will bookmark and return from time to time....' type of comment.

Blogengine is good because the comments don't normally require approval from the webmaster.

I have built hundreds of links over the last week or two and now have #1 in Google and Yahoo for some of my targeted keyphrases (just need hundreds more keyphrases to start ranking now).

Ok so it takes time to set up SB, but hundreds of links for a product costing less than $100 is VFM.

I would love to get this to work I really would. All 2k were on auto approve BlogEngine blogs, using slow commenter accurate mode. I ran check links and it said 50% success. Whats the point of "check links" if it gives me all false positives?

Still manually going through all 1k "success" and so far randomly checking about 700 of them--- ZERO posted.

I manually posted to a bunch of them however.

The whole point of this software for me is that it automates the process. I can find blogengine backlinks myself and manually post all day. I was hoping this software could do it for me.

But you wouldnt need to be so exact that the number of results are counted into the progress. I think it would be sufficient when 0 to 100% are the keywords. Which means when working on a keywordlist of 200, google and yahoo working on keyword 100, bing at 50 and aol at 150 the progressbar would stay at 50% as the average worked on keyword.

Exactly, this is what I had in mind.

Trust me it will be something your doing dude, work with sweetfunny by email and you will get sorted!.

In my experience(not much) I have noticed this :

Scrap proxies as many as you can, then test them.
Don't spin the comments as I find I get failed500 on every url, maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I also use ccleaner before every blast.
Change the connection settings to suit your needs.
Also just do short burst, no point doing massive blasts anyway.
And last thing is change the emails as much as possible just incase a blog owners blacklists one of them.

One word - performance. I want those harvests done as fast as possible.

Another word - choice. There are times I want to dupes in my harvested results. Not a lot, but times.

Yes and we would like the choice not to have the duplicates as most of the time it serves no purpose.

Sweetfunny - would it be possible to add an OPTION to exclude duplicates in the scrape?

You should uncheck the automatic removing of duplicates. And after harvesting you should read what the message states. Your urls above 1million are stored in files. You can remove duplicates yourself.
The automatic removing removes duplicate domains not duplicate urls. Because of that you have so less urls left.
If thats not the case then you have too many very very similar keywords. And because of that always the same blogs and urls are found. Duplicates.
