One thing I didn't mention, I usually "remove duplicate domains".

I can't really give away an example of my comment... but I can give you some clues and 'build one up' here. Think of yourself as a moderator, what would you approve? After scraping a list of blogs, open some of them and read what kind of comments have been approved for ideas...
I usually go for long comments, and make sure that the first sentence or two are something 100% non-spammy, even stupid. The rest of the comment is usually just fluff to keep away too much reading or "impulse spam clicking/reporting" (remember if too many moderators report your comment as spam, it gets classified as spam to akismet, which means similar comments will be automatically in 'spam' folder for the next moderators who have akismet, and most moderators don't even bother looking in there, especially if they are frequently spammed. This can really handicap your posting operation if that happens) So having 'stupid' comments rather than 'suckup' or 'spam' comments works better in preserving your operation. If the moderator feels they are smarter than you, then they will just throw a comment they don't like into "trash", rather than "spam". Atleast thats the theory. I usually end the comments with a call to interaction from other readers...
eg:
[random into]
[nice body]
[CTI to other members/ readers]
*talk as if you are directing your comment at other readers, NOT the moderator or editor. Too many people try to suckup and I feel it doesn't work well. But don't take my word for it, try it out!
Also remember what kind of window a moderator sees when they are moderating comments.. I don't think they see the comment structure. Use that to your advantage, sometimes I start off my comments with something targeting a "previous poster", like
"@Daniel ...
...random rambling...
[call to a response or thought] emoticon"

"@ Daniel, yea I can see what you did there.
I really liked that part, but hehe I'm not that harsh like my dad with these things. He always tells me crazy stories back in the day and calls me a loser. I guess it is time I move out of my parents' basement LOL. Aaanyways, what about you? what does your dad think xD"

**remember not to make the moderator think 'daniel' said something bad or interesting, or he will look and see there is no daniel. make yourself seem like some stupid whining kid, that people naturally ignore. Try to include what 'daniel said', but don't make it seem like an insult. make the moderator 'know' what daniel said from your post alone, and think 'meh', and move on.
**The moderator often thinks of himself as a "shepherd", writing for his "dumber" readers. So seeing stupid (but not too stupid) posts seem really natural and wanted by him. Ofcourse don't kill your comment with an aubvious anchor text as your name. But experiment with that.
sometimes I even input random ascii, or insult a non-existant person with a "funny" comment/ ascii.
