One thing I didn't mention, I usually "remove duplicate domains".
I did this in quick and slow poster
I can't really give away an example of my comment... but I can give you some clues and 'build one up' here. Think of yourself as a moderator, what would you approve? After scraping a list of blogs, open some of them and read what kind of comments have been approved for ideas...
I usually go for long comments, and make sure that the first sentence or two are something 100% non-spammy, even stupid. The rest of the comment is usually just fluff to keep away too much reading or "impulse spam clicking/reporting" (remember if too many moderators report your comment as spam, it gets classified as spam to akismet, which means similar comments will be automatically in 'spam' folder for the next moderators who have akismet, and most moderators don't even bother looking in there, especially if they are frequently spammed. This can really handicap your posting operation if that happens) So having 'stupid' comments rather than 'suckup' or 'spam' comments works better in preserving your operation. If the moderator feels they are smarter than you, then they will just throw a comment they don't like into "trash", rather than "spam". Atleast thats the theory. I usually end the comments with a call to interaction from other readers...
eg:

[random into]
[nice body]
[CTI to other members/ readers]

*talk as if you are directing your comment at other readers, NOT the moderator or editor. Too many people try to suckup and I feel it doesn't work well. But don't take my word for it, try it out!

Also remember what kind of window a moderator sees when they are moderating comments.. I don't think they see the comment structure. Use that to your advantage, sometimes I start off my comments with something targeting a "previous poster", like

"@Daniel ...
...random rambling...
[call to a response or thought] emoticon"

=

"@ Daniel, yea I can see what you did there.
I really liked that part, but hehe I'm not that harsh like my dad with these things. He always tells me crazy stories back in the day and calls me a loser. I guess it is time I move out of my parents' basement LOL. Aaanyways, what about you? what does your dad think xD"

=

Spin it, and you got a winner!

**remember not to make the moderator think 'daniel' said something bad or interesting, or he will look and see there is no daniel. make yourself seem like some stupid whining kid, that people naturally ignore. Try to include what 'daniel said', but don't make it seem like an insult. make the moderator 'know' what daniel said from your post alone, and think 'meh', and move on.
**The moderator often thinks of himself as a "shepherd", writing for his "dumber" readers. So seeing stupid (but not too stupid) posts seem really natural and wanted by him. Ofcourse don't kill your comment with an aubvious anchor text as your name. But experiment with that.

sometimes I even input random ascii, or insult a non-existant person with a "funny" comment/ ascii.

hope that helps you!
you did this with the quick WP method? Wow...

I notice that length of posts might play a role also..

eg. "Hi! Really Good Information here, Bookmarked. Thanks and Greetings" tends to not got that well. (About 50% success POSTING...dont know how many will stick). Your number is VERY impressive.

Care to share an example comment?

No, I was just basing the price off of the "buy additional bandwith" ($1.20 per GB) cost per GB. The initial cost was somewhere 40$ with 16gb bandwidth and 120+ proxies

Great motivational post. That kind of success rate on WP is impressive.

One thing I was curious about... You have 120 private proxies for $4.80?

Just ordered, sounds like a great piece of software, just what I have been searching for to make life easier.

Look forward to giving it a go!

Thanks
Great News: From time I submitted activation link to receiving confirmation email was like less than an hour, learning how to use now!

I just did some preliminary scraping and posting on wp, and movable type, and had some interesting results as well.

I was not using proxies, and didn't flood anything at all. What I noticed though was that Scrapebox reported 50+ successes, but when I went to the sites, none of them actually had my links or posts on them.

I suppose they need to be moderated. Unfortunately, I don't actually have anything of value to add today, so most links won't make the cut.

That'll make this less than ideal for my needs, but I suppose it pays to know exactly what you are getting into.

This was a very small scale test, and I currently have very little idea how to use it correctly, so here's to hoping I get better.

can i use html in comments , i want to link some text .

Yes it even has a WYSIWYG Editor, much like doing markup here on the forum.. You just click buttons.

before considering a purchase, are there video tutorials that go with the program.

Thx

I've tossed up a YouTube channel with some here you can watch before buying: http://www.youtube.com/user/scrapebox

Hi Sweetfunny,

I am very interested in your scrapebox.

I was wondering does it work in other language like german or italian also?
Thanks.

Take a look at this screenshot: http://i49.tinypic.com/xeel2.png

As you can see i set Google to Google.it and the language to Italian with the +it modifier and searched and harvested .it domain with the commercializzazione keyword.

I just did some preliminary scraping and posting on wp, and movable type, and had some interesting results as well.

Take a look at Physaux's post here for example: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/1482449-post1710.html

The biggest limitation of ScrapeBox is really the person pushing the buttons knowing how to use it. It does have a lot of functionality, and it does require a little experimentation to get the best results. However the learning curve isn't real steep, you will master it with some practice.

Also you don't have to go and check the sites for the presence of your link, after commenting click the "Check Links" radio button and start it running.

v1.10.3 Uploaded

The framework for the addons has been redone, which allows addons to share data back and forwards with ScrapeBox, plus also the addons have a versioning system to allow for upgrades only to specific addons mostly without the need to update ScrapeBox.

Here is the addons manager, out of date addons will be shown in Red and up to date addons will be shown in Green. The "Compatible" column shows the minimum ScrapeBox version which the addon is compatible with.

I am experiencing 100% 404 Error lately when testing harvested proxies after updating to the latest version. Is it just my connection? Does anyone also experiences this lately?

Could just be your connection, or one of the sources selected. Are you harvesting proxies from all sources or just one? I usually pick All Sources with the proxy harvester (which I pretty much only rely on for getting proxies to scrape the search engines).

I am testing the sources one by one and every source results in 100% 404 error. I'll try again later using my home connection. thanks dude

I know a lot of people want to hurry up and get ranked, but I believe you get the best results by taking the time to write good comments and using it moderately. I have a new site, about a month old that I hit a few hundred with every couple days and it now has nearly 300 backlinks. Personally, I think it's great that I don't have to search out each blog then read the content and post something I really don't care about only to hope they liked it. The mere fact that I can set it up in the morning and go have coffee just makes my day. The key is in testing comments and finding out what will stick rather than spamming thousands of blogs a day. And yes it takes a few days for your postings to be sorted out by moderators but if you use it continuously a little at a time you will begin to see good sticking backlinks like clockwork.

Been using this for just over a week now and very happy with the results.

I dont have any private proxies, but i use Hide My Ip - premuim subscription, which i have set to change to a random proxy every 1 minute.
I have set scrapebox to use the 10s delay, this mean my proxy will change after roughly every 6 comments

Thus far i have been getting success rate of about 30 - 40% and then maybe 10 -20% of that will actually stick.

I have also learned that you can open multiple instances of the program on your PC, so while i am posting i open another instance and start harvesting , and other instance sending out RSS pings -- i have about 5 instances running at a time.

I do however have a question about the email file and have been using the default emil file but i dont think that is a good idea as it looks very suspicious all these comments from the same domain. Wont it be better to just use random fake email addresses -- what do you guys use or suggest for this?

wow just submitting mine for activation and within 5 minutes of doing so the program was activated. What a fast response:)

Gonna try it out now.

quick question if I may? Everything has went ok so far except one thing. Went I harvest urls and try to transfer them to the blog list, it doesn't do it. My bloglist is left blank every time.

@Brotato - very odd. I'd recommend sending this one in to SB Support - go to scrapebox.com and click Contact Support.

Sweetfunny does a great job monitoring BHW, but I also know she's mentioned in the past wanting to get bug reports via the Support option @ scrapebox.com. And that's an odd one, I"ve not heard of that before.

As a temporary workaround, can you try saving the URL list to disk and then loading it that way?

Hey not to insult your intelligence or anything, I made this mistake myself before I caught on, but are you sure you are clicking the right button? There are 4 that 'dropdown' when you click 'list', of those 2 are confusing:

"transfer URL's to Blog List for Commenter"---sites to comment on [good]
"transfer URL's to Website List for Commenter"---sites to link to in your comment [probably not what you want]

check that, other than that idk what could be wrong mine works

the pr check used to be VERY fast if i used around 50-100 connections when i use 50 connections now it uses only one of them..
i use a BIG proxy list (128) private proxies but it keeps on using only one connection...

what is going wrong?

@gregstereo: Definitely will. I thought it was odd myself as I haven't seen it mentioned before. Also thought it was user error so I closed the program, harvested a different list and tried again but it's still an empty file.

@Physaux: I'm definitely doing it right. Not sure why it's not working and I'm not really stressing it as I'm sure it will be taken care of. No insult taken by the way. wouldn't had been the first time I overlooked something

I'm still trying to get the hang of it and plan to watch the videos again but I'm already in love with this thing. :D

When you have url's in your harvester list, and select in the dropdown menu "Transfer URL... to Blog List", a dialog box should popup. What does it say?

And after the dialog box, when you click the "E" button beside the blog lists "Open" button, what does it display?

looks like it was user error afterall. I already gotten a reply from supprot(insanely fast I might add) and I was thinking when you add the harvested list it saved the results to scrapebox>comment poster>blog lists.txt. Support said it saves to a virtual file and not to the file in which I thought it saved to. I apologize
