no i have always used proxies i will harvest a new list and run another test to see the results. and i will post back later

just tried to do a test all over again but i cant seem to scrape 1 working proxy and scrapebox keeps crashing i have sent reports upon crash to you i will try later on

Reading is fundamental - SF talked about the communal blacklist (aka cloud blacklist) when it was first released and in a message shortly before yours:

Added: Optional Cloud/Communal Based Blacklist
Added: Crash Dump files for Success/Fail when Commenting due to Microsofts mshtml.dll being unreliable.
Added: Additional Null Character filtering in Harvester.
Changed RSS, Ping, Trackback, Checklinks to Radio buttons

If you encounter problems after commenting to a specific blog, for example they make a complaint to your host or proxy provider feel free to submit the URL for inclusion to the Cloud Database.

This cloud is shared to other ScrapeBox users, and is optional if you want to use it or not. The Commenter will skip any URL's in the database and not comment on them.

There is an option under the "Tools" menu called "Submit Entries to Cloud Blacklist" which will open a ScrapeBox window to add the URL's and a reason.

With this i'd like to keep it to sites that have filed complaints to either proxy providers, hosts and that sort of thing.

FYI - Sweetfunny posts here when s/he releases a new version with brief explanations of what's new (hence first quote above). SF also posts similar text in the Update window after you check for an update in Scrapebox. Read....learn...apply...profit....

I'm thinking it'd be great if we could add a recovery feature. Many times, after the running the program for to long it became unresponsive and would not maximize out of my tray. I needed to kill the process and was unable to export the 6000 or so successful comments I had posted.

This was just added in one of the two latest updates buddy.
After a crash, just go to your "scrapebox" folder, and you can find the crashdump log files, i.e "crashdump fast poster success", etc.

You can then import the good ones, or take your old list and compare it to all the successful (and or failed) ones, to continue posting to the ones you haven't posted to yet.

Question regarding spinning comments. I noticed when I input my article in the spinner the is a \ the shows up before every ' and ". Is this affecting my posted comments?

My spun examples are coming out like <a href=\"http://site.com\"> and I'm also getting stuff like - isn\'t, I\'ll , don\'t etc...

I don't believe that there was this problem early and this would explain my current low approval rate for my recent comment runs.

I could run you a test, I know you would be satisfied and then buy it. But you will need to come up with your own comments, I can't give away my secret super-sticker ones I pm'd you the details.

So I just got the report on Physaux's trial run for me. Unbelievable. I can't believe I ever did manual blog commenting in the past...

The next time I need some of this, I'm definitely going to buy ScrapeBox and run some highly targeted scrapes so that I can TRY to have reasonable comments.

I went with a more realistic version of the OP's "K-Meleon display not working" comment, and I'm definitely getting a good number of backlinks.

My current campaign will utilize the following:
- ScrapeBox blog comments
- Monitor Google Alerts on my keywords (make comments / get links whenever possible)
- Angela and Paul backlinks, RSS them and
- Adwords Campaign
- Custom made random linkwheel with ~18 web 2.0 properties
- Xrumer, eventually
- Linkjuicer to the linkwheel and occasionally to my page
- Social Bookmarks to the linkwheel and my pages (using bookmarkwiz)
- PRStorm to the linkwheel and occasionally to my site
- Some articles here and there

Hi guys, I'm just another happy Scrapebox user from France. I would have 1 question though: I have bought 10 private proxies to use with SB and I'm getting "Error 404 Connection Refused (Error#10061)" on each and everyone of them after only a 1K run...

Now after reading pretty much all the thread I would guess the IPs are just blocked temporarily rather than banned. However I'm just very surprised that this happens after such a small number of comments. Not only that, but I'm getting only 30% success rate on the comment posting...

Don't get me wrong, it's still a lot better than what I could do manually obviously, but it's kind of bugging me anyway because I read about people having some 28K runs in one batch and I just wonder..... What am-I doing wrong? What is the reasonable amount of comment posting that can be done with 10 private proxies without getting blocked? Are there some "special" settings I don't know about? Is anybody experiencing the same problems?

In the tutorial he's getting 80% success on a 1K run with about the same number of proxies... I'm confused. Thank you in advance for your replies!

Did you update to a new version and the new executable has been blocked by your firewall?

@ Physaux - Everything is fine on my end as well

Did my first blast tonight of 839 wp blogs and received these results; 453 success 386 failures.

Not bad as I'm not using proxies and if only 10% of the people accept my replies I'll have more backlinks then I am able to do by myself at this time.

Thanks for checking for me- I am still having the problems. :bawling:
I still have version 1.9.36, I checked and saw the update once, but I did not download it because I had two scrapebox windows open, and I didn't want to mess something up. Now they finished, so I closed them to update, and then this problem happened... I hope I didn't mess something up. I'm just gona download the newest version directly, and see what happens

EDIT: hmm ok well I downloaded the new version, but I am still having the problems... I even tried refreshing my ip by restarting router... I'll just wait for the support email I sent :rain:
