That was some amazing compilation of info there. I know most of these plugins already, but having them categorized and compared like this means that I can now safely remove that knowledge from my head. When I need info I'll just refer back to this list. Thanks!

PS - Glad you didn't put Statpress and the like in your list, they slow down your site like crazy

I love the list of plugins, i'm choosing 1 or 2 of each category you put up and adding it to my site, especially the security plugins. Thanks for the thread.

I have a question regarding the Wordpress Security plugin number 13 or 14 , 15 ,16 ,17 and 18.

Is it possible to use them all 5 without :

-getting in conflict with the others plugins that i plan to use (mentioned above )

or

-slowing down my site

Do not use them all together, you can use 13, 17 and 18 together without getting errors, using security plug-ins may violate convenience of visitors to your blog
