I have recently foudn the tool from cognitiveseo to optimize your content with their suggested keyowrds (lsi keywords most likely).
So now that I have optimized it im asking myself though, was that a bad idea? Just wanted to ask if someone had any experience with the content assistant from cognitiveseo before I put all that stuff on my website.

Just test it and see how rankings change. Google is pretty quick with on-site SEO changes, but still give it some more time before making a decision.

Definitely worth giving it a shot. Generally you get a boost pretty quickly if you hadn't updated your content in a while. But this boost can fade away with time, so you shouldn't get carried away too quickly.

The problem is that this is the first site im building. I know some stuff about seo and not to blindly trust tools but just wanted to know if anyone maybe has had good experiences with it.

Just make sure with these points Keyword research tools, Competitive research, Content optimization, Basic on-page tech SEO, Link tracking, SEO management tools, Web analytics and etc
