On-site SEO done. Next step?

I think i have almost completed my on-site SEO. http://www.realpeterbruce.com

What is the next step, link building?
I have paid for keyword research.

There's just too much information and different opinions on here for beginners to understand.

I desperately need to get my site into a position where I will be making a decent amount of daily sales.
Funds are running very low.

I know I'm going to get a lot of responses from people trying to sell every service & ill still not know which to go for.

You'd want to get your site indexed first if it hasn't been already.

Bookmark it on Digg, Reddit and other social bookmarking sites.

After that you'd want to create links point back to your site. But ensure you creae a diverse range such as:

- Articles
- Press Releases
- Blog commenting
- Wiki's
- Video
etc

Ensure your links are also of both low and high quality as it will give you a more natural link profile.

For the love of God, please don't be spending cash if you don't know what you're spending it on.

First do some basic research on what SEO is and then once you know what you're doing it'll be easier to make INFORMED decisions when you're buying services.

No need to spend more cash yet. Spend some time doing manual link building from high PR sites, especially those with related content. Submit those links to the free ping services (such as bulkping) to get them indexed. Don't rush anything, you may get penalized by Google.

You can also benefit from setting up some web 2.0 sites and linking to your main site. Try squidoo, blogpress, etc.
