Hello BHW,

I got this Demographic as I'm a Long Tail Platinum User.

And I am sharing this, If its helpful for any Noob who joined BHW to Learn SEO.

Demographics is "the scientific and statistical study of populations, including of human beings. As a very general science, it can analyze any kind of dynamic living population, i.e., one that changes over time or space (see population dynamics)."

Also, on point two. Why should the meta description include the keyword?

Including your keyword everywhere will only result in your pages getting over-optimized. It's not as easy as it used to be few years ago.

Haha, I was just thinking that about the whole demographic thing.

Also agree on the meta description part. That being said meta description does help with CTR since that's what people see on the serps.

Yeah, my point was just that its not going to help you rank.
 
absolutely put the keyword in the meta description. Many could tell you otherwise but the fact is you are optimizing for 1-2 keywords at most. As long as it makes sense, the keyword needs to be there in desctiption.

But for what purpose? You can preach about how "you have to do this" and "you have to do that", but no SEO can ever tell you why. Its hard to find an SEO that doesn't just rehash shit they heard some noob on Moz say.
 
I have never set meta description, is this maybe a problem?

As for description, i think its better to not set them because, google will randomly pick the keywords people are searching in the Google, then shows that under your domain URL, im wrong???????

So true. A lot of advice I see people leave are obviously from noobs who never gained their own experience. Not calling anyone out...just saying.

Nice way to go with on-page techniques..before that analyze the website completely before going with onpage
