Hello everyone,

One of my website which was hosted with Interserver got an DMCA complaint and the hosting provider suspended my account without any notice.

I somehow got access to site backup and now bought an Offshore web hosting for the website.

But I have this doubt what happens if I get a DMCA complaint again while with this Offshore hosting. How helpful is being hosted on Offshore hosting?

Suppose they just ignore the DMCA complaints but is it possible that the website link will be deindexed after being with the Offshore hosting?

What benefits will I get?

I'm also wondering what penalties even though the provider ignores the complains .., watching this thread.

Lets see if we get any decent information on this.

Most of them ignore DMCA, unless you are going way too big and pissing off big brands. Check out Abelo host, they are good for small and medium sites. Do hide behind Cloudflare.

If you are a big fish, go reverse proxy way.

Will Google still deindex my DMCA complaint pages while being with Offshore hosting? Or those deindexing will also be ignored by the Search engines?

No, those pages will be deindexed.

OKay so with offshore my account won't get suspended on DMCA complaints. That is the only benefit, right?

As someone said above, it depends. If you are not a big fish, usually no one cares. A DMCA complaint sent to your offshore host provider is nothing. If they decide to take it to court then it would be a different story.

OKay got it. Thanks

I think you have got enough information already, hosting will not stop google for deindexing, and once you are using offshore dmca ignored they will only react when they get a court order to take your site down. Still they wont share your information.

Got it thanks alot. :)

If the host is in a juristiction that makes legal action difficult/expensive, it's very helpful.
There are plenty of bulletproof, spam/abuse friendly hosts around if you do some hunting :)

Got up with one host will see how it works. Thanks

interserver takes down sites even without verifying if the DMCA complaint is vaild or not.
that's the reason I moved my clients to Vsys in Europe, and The-Online.com in Netherlands, Europe.
since last 4 years I did not got any DMCA take down notices. They just discard it.
Even I tried nincenic.net in HK, but their hosting is costly and slow.
