I'm speaking from the perspective of someone who is just a content creator/influencer. I only got into this realm of marketing in search for a way to get over the hump of Instagram's earlier platform-ruining tactics, ie. the original implementation of the algorithm. It's virtually impossible to grow an account past the "micro-influencer" stage now without blackhat or funneling a following from another platform like youtube. No one has time to like and comment on hundreds of posts, and even if they did it takes forever compared to before when you could just post good content and people would see it

Yeah! Content is the Main Key but not the only one, posting good content brings follows when you have a good following, but if when its about growing an account from 0, its nearly impossible to grow it as fast as we used to do

What Instagram needs to do is not just fight bots, but also not to demand BOT-LIKE BEHAVIOR from its real users.
Because that's what IG wants: lots of activity. That you work the app like a machine.
Its algorithm targets the regular user so he always has this feeling of not getting enough, and to come back to get it, and again not getting it. Like the one-armed bandits at the casinos. It is an algorithm that programs addictive behavior into people.
Bots are the natural answer - because the bot prevents this damage, and protects the users. That it gets abused is another topic, but doing social media without a bot is intellectual and emotional suicide.
Instagram has to take a good look at itself and what it does. It leads all the rankings on "social media apps that make their users unhappy" with the highest depression score.
Each behavior spawns a reply. Just as prohibition created Al Capone and the organized mob, the casino-addiction algorithm of IG created bots.

I don't know how you all are getting banned from using bots, i'm doing 1000 follows per day and then the next day 1000 unfollows, in 1 month selling 6 accounts, i have more than 10 accounts on same ip, never got banned (it's been almost 2 years) , btw, i'm not talking bullshit , i'm telling how it's working for me.

I made an Instagram account to follow a bunch of these IG models for ummm..... research. I couldn't follow more than 15 girls before getting follow block! Like wth a real user with real intentions being stopped from using the application. then people say IG isn't poisoning themselves.

A manual bot? I mean the very definition of a bot that it is automatic.

The manual part is switching between accounts and changing sources. And watching for AB’s. Bot’s not sophisticated enough so I can’t scale. It’s a temporary system I put to keep trudging along during these dark times.

They not want spammers and botting on their networks both twitter and instagram, and they will not die because of stopping this, its funny to think that. We can cry or think whatever we want but reality is networks are safer and cleaner without bot accounts and other trash. In last year or two even my grandma could learn how to use jarvee and how to automate IG. This and other similar software should be invitation only not available to public and this would maybe not happen. But anyway when you see random dudes running 1000-2000 accounts spamming sh.. out of IG well its obvious they will impelement some security.
