Newbie here: looking advice

Hi guys,

I'm amazed with all the knowledge available in the forums, but also a little confused. Very new to this so apologies if these questions have already been asked (happy to be linked to the corresponding forum if they have) .

Questions:
1) How can I make money from social media platforms?
2) Am I better off buying a YT/IG/ and domain name or should I start fresh?
2) If buying is better: where is the best place to look?
3) Tips on growing/ building a business

Any other general advice/pointers are welcomed.

N/B: Incase a little context is useful; I've decided to start this endeavour after battling with very serious health issues from a young age. My main goal is to build platforms whereby I can reach people who have been through/ or are going through similar health problems. This is a big step for me but I want to help and offer hope to others.

Secondly, as I've understood you, you'd like to create an social websites where people with health issues we'll be able to help each other and communicate, also you want to make money from it, right? Thanks.

I suggest you buy a domain and hosting (~$20), and some content, then learn how to drive traffic to it.

Hi! Yes precisely. My main aim is to create platforms whereby I can help others and offer useful information. Eventually I'd like to monetise the platforms and earn money from it. Just wondered the best way to start? Am I better off buying a domain/ YouTube/IG or starting fresh?

Honestly a little clueless when it comes to this area so any general advice is welcomed. Thanks!

What are the pro's and cons of buying a domain? Presumably buying is a better option because there will already by a user base.

All your questions have already been asked and answered on this forum. Search, read, take notes. If anything has changed drastically, you'll hear it here first! Nothing is going to happen until you TAKE ACTION.

SEO+traffic

first think just think as an ill person, if you were unwell what you would do??, I don't think so many people will search for how to get rid of this disease. if you are creating a platform for a very specific niche like- "cancer patient community" where they can interact then that sounds like an idea. when it comes to monetization you should collaborate with doctors' appointments with patient, where the patient will pay you for an online appointment with a pro Dr. There are many ways to monetize. Just keep eye one pharma companies and small clinics and search what you can implement in your site.....but anyway the idea is great
