Never seen this before! Blanket Shadowban ⚡

This is a first time for me! Let me know if you guys have seen this before.

We run a physical retail store in Miami and have 4 Instagram pages (the main corporate page where we post original products and 3 other pages where we curate viral content and give credit to the original pages behind it).

We have multiple salespeople who run all of the pages from their phone and switch actively between them to answer client DMs, comments, etc.

We've also been scheduling posts on each page using Onlypult for years, where we have each page working with a unique Miami dedicated proxy. Salespeople schedule most stories manually with their phones and we schedule about 10% of the total stories with Onlypult as well.

On June 23rd (see red vertical line below), all pages seemed to have been hit with the same sort of shadowban and the followers stopped growing at the same time.



The image above shows the total follower curve and growth curve for each of the 4 pages.

I'm not really sure what caused this, since we didn't receive any copyright strikes or anything else.

Let me know what you guys think might have caused this and if you've seen this before. By the way, the pages don't use bots, like pumping, or anything like that.

Here are some of my guesses:

1. Instagram is cracking down on Onlypult all of the sudden.
2. One of the stories uploaded by our salespeople had copyrighted music in the background (but this is something we've been doing for years with stories, not posts).
3. Some other mysterious, alien driven event.

I'm scratching my head over here.

This isn't the first time I'm hearing about Instagram going against scheduling apps, bots and other aiding software. IMHO your best choice would be to go to contact their support from one of the accounts, maybe you will get a clarification of what's happening.

It could be something related to Onlypult or a salesperson did something sketchy but thats too strange.
Maybe some alghoritm strange thing happened to your pages because all were related and they were in the same device of your salespersons.

Keep updating if this happens again this looks very interesting.

IG most likely doesn't like third party apps and botting so won't be surprising they might detected your automated behavior and dislike it despite coming from such a simple harmless app.

I got this from some company:

Not sure is for paid traffic... maybe some people may know better.


But lets look from different angle, i sell a product and i have a product for free... would i try to force free users to convert to paid?

So ur bussiness and their bussiness is to make money so ...

I could say i am a newbie in this Instgrm game but i can assure they ghost feature is huge even normal accounts small ones u need to have alternatives...

I would suggest tiktok and the twist would be contract some allready tiktok users in your city to make a video, how? as it was forbiiden and trying to do it behind staff people but inside store , some weird dance or whatever and at the end show that all was planned and inviting young people to ur store with a discount if they make videos for u...

thats just an idea u can twisted 4 sure but the key here is to go away from those that dont want us in their platform and not pay them for ads, better pay small people...

Or if u still want to go "free" create more insta accounts or contract a manager , many people here still botting and the only way we can make money is through this, insta managment.

This happens with bot account, but did you appeal agaisnt this

I just clicked "Report a problem" on one of the pages and sent them the earlier image as well as the one below showing the simultaneous reduction in reach. Not sure they'll even respond though. If you know of a better way to get a hold of their support department, let me know.

We do not use botting in any of these accounts. I'm not sure what to appeal if we never received any notification of any wrongdoing. What I did was "Report a problem" like I stated above and sent them two images showing the problem. Not sure what else to do.

Yup, I figured. Let's see what happens.

This is very weird, I am losing like 20-30 followers in every 3 days with authentic non bot account. Looks like instagram is removing users or whatever

Yup, we're going through the same thing, but on a larger scale.

I already mentioned that none of the accounts do any botting and we have used Onlypult to schedule posts for about 4 years without anything like this every happening.

I believe in the power of number 23, it can appear in different ways as a marker of change. Have you noticed the 23 following you?

Nah, I prefer 21 because of it's part of the Fibonacci sequence

many niches started seeing this march 13 and or april 1st of this year. mine started march 13 and I so far lost 160k in my network of a few mill since then. and folks. those accounts don't bot so don't say it. bet half that say it simply don't know what they are talking about
