I have a client who wants the ability to update a couple of webpages himself (they change frequently) and Macromedia Contribute is a pain. I did have the code for this (from a ScriptLance project), but since we moved servers (shared to VPS) it is not working correctly and I'm not an expert in this area and can't seem to get it running.

So here is what I need.

    1. I'm looking for someone who is an expert in MySQL/PHP and can do some quick work this weekend.

    2. Client would login to an admin area and be able to edit the content (not html) of a particular page or two. He would click save/update and the page would immediately be updated to the public.

    3. He would need WYSIWYG capability

    4. He would probably paste directly from Word, but I wouldn't want that to break my page.

    5. The coder can either fix the existing code or generate new code. (your choice)

    6. Details concerning the project would be via PM, but I have control of the site, DBs can be created/ftp priviledges etc.

    7. I would pay via paypal immediately upon completion. I can't pay a lot for this, but want to be fair.

As far as the client knows I would be doing the code (this is outsourcing completely).

If you have question, post them here or via PM if they pertain to passwords, etc.

<edit> Also could trade for a video if that is of interest to anyone. SBV

    Hi,
I already have something much like this already to go but I can relabel it or just take the features you like of it and incorporate it into what you have. if you want to see a video of the CMS control panel i have built you can check out at http://www.interpounce.com/video/introvid/introvid.html - excuse the begining of the video, it was going to be a product video for the masses but I am better at building websites then selling them lol.

I have a ton of experience doing this sort of thing so can definetly have you fixed up in a day or so.

I am located in washington state and am in desperate need of some quick work so will be very favorable in price (aka cheap :)) anyway if your interested give me a PM and I will send you my phone number and we will go from there.

    Cheers
    James

Why not use something like http://www.cushycms.com ?

You might want to take a look at it, there are similar alternatives as well.

Thank you all for your replies. The code was beautifully implemented by a BHW member. I'm waiting to see if it's okay to mention his name, suffice to say he's good.
