Hi guys, I would just like to ask for some input/analysis with regards to my website. It is an amazon affiliate website which is only about a month old, has a clean WP theme and has some good article content that I wrote myself.

It has about 28 visitors/day, most of them categorized as direct (84%), the others are broken down to referral (12%) then organic (4%). Visitors kinda fluctuate everyday, it may have 40 visitors yesterday, 50 visitors today, then 3-5 visitors (sometimes 0) tomorrow.

I have also submitted the website to Google Webmaster Tools for indexing and has about 7 URLs indexed.

With my amazon affiliates account, from June 1 to June 8 it has recorded about 56 product link clicks with 0 conversion.

I do not promote the website on any social media platform, I only do legit blog commenting about 1-3 times a day.

There are some questions that I would like to clarify and it would be great if you guys would take the time to answer me.

    1. I have searched for the meaning of Direct visitors, and I am still confused. I do not know how my website gets these types of visitors as I don't promote it at all via ads/FB/twitter or whatever. How am I getting these visitors? Plus there are also referrals from other websites in which I did not place my link to my website or whatsoever. Is this normal?

    2. With regards to the Amazon clicks, why are there still no conversions even with 56 clicks? Am I doing something wrong?

    3. At this rate of visitors, Am I on the right track?

I am trying to do it slowly and organic as possible, blog commenting trying to get backlinks, writing my own articles etc. I might outsource some backlinks if I get the money, but that would be a month or two from now. Any suggestions to further improve my site?

Thanks for your constructive criticisms and suggestions.
