Hi there.

Wanted to ask a question. I want to build a website for my new business.
So I did a little research and figured out that the best way to build a website is with WP.

I learned the basics, posts, pages, header, footer, what is a widget, what is a plugin.

My new business will be based on subscriptions.
So my website (how I imagine) will be based on a landing page with a little bit of text and a yt video,
how it works, what are my services, a blog page and payment methods.

So my questions are:

1. Do you know where can I learn about Word Press to build that kind of website?

2. How to make a payment method with visa etc... How to learn what plugin for that to use?

3. Is WooCommerce or Elementor good?

4. How can I have a data base of everyone who payed for my services and contact information, email, phone number etc?

5. So basically, can someone recommend a good platform for learning WP for business. If I need to pay I will.

For service subscription I think for that you will need a membership plugin and a good theme (Divi for example). Most membership plugins have payment options like stripe etc. Or you can connect that plugin to woocommerce payment methods.

There are plenty of video on worpdress on yt.

Thank you for replaying.

But I need to learn as much as I can in a short amount of time.
So yt videos are all over the place, everyone is talking diffrent stuff and different methods, I need something where I can learn fast and as much as I can.

You are Jr. VIP. I think you know what you are talking about.
My plan is to learn how to create a business website and then learn a little about fb groups and instagram pictures, how to make pictures and reels.
After that SEO and ads.

What do you think is that a good plan?

Sounds like a solid plan. Good luck to you!

If your looking to keep your costs and time down, you can create a presence with the site https://fourthwall.com/pricing/

As you can have subscriptions, and sell goods through it too. Plus its free to use upfront. I haven't used them yet, but I have 3 projects in mind that I have still to get round too putting on the platform. Many people on youtube use them.

If you have a limited time then I would suggest finding someone proficient in WordPress for a consultation call. An hour or so should be enough to discuss your business needs, your vision, your idea, and come to a conclusion on what plugins and themes to use.

But if you REALLY need to learn this on your own then I would start with learning the basics of Elementor.

For subscription management, you could use something like Memberpress, a WordPress plugin https://memberpress.com/

Or you could just use Stripe and their subscription methods instead.

Learn how to build a WP site, learn some copywriting for your content (or get some help from GPT), add Memberpress for subscription management (if you really need it) or Stripe, then go and learn about social media.

Keep coming to your website to tweak SEO.

The fastest route would probably be hopping on a consultation call with someone who could give fully understand your requirements and give you a list of things to use. Or even hire someone to do it for you.
