NEED ADVICE: Backlinks on Wordpress blogs

Hi.

I'll do some serious SEO for my new dating site. My plan is to build as much backlinks as possible on Wordpress blogs - I'll search for Wordpress blogs on Google and I will manually post quality comments. I could do 10 blogs per day, that's 300 links per month.

Since I've never done this before, I'm wondering if this is the correct approach for creating backlinks for my site? Does anybody have any experience in posting comments on Wordpress blogs and similar? Please, I need some advice on how to do this properly.

I'm also planning to automate the posting of comments on Wordpress blogs and I'm wondering how many comments per day should I post in order to not get in trouble with Google or Wordpress itself? Again, I'm a noob here, so I really need some good advice on this.

I'm also wondering if the described approach for creating backlinks is considered white hat or black hat?

How old is your site and how many backlinks does it have now?

For someone that has never done this before, you sure picked one of the most competitive niches around (dating). You best be targeting long tail keywords or it will take many years to rank without a big wallet.

My site is only a few months old. It doesn't have any backlinks yet. I'm targeting a foreign country where the competition is not so big. So, does somebody have any advice on creating backlinks on blogs by posting comments?
