Wow as a married woman doing black hat w/ IM and I dabble in ewhore I can tell you one thing. I understand and I consider myself to be lucky to have a man who does not question my being online almost 80% of the time at home. I am the bread winner of my household and I do better than if I were out of the home working. You really need to be patient with this im thing find something that works tweek it all the time nothing in this business stays the same it is always changing you just have to be sure that you are doing your hardest to stay on top of things. As far as your wife leaving I am sorry that she is close minded and feels that your wanting to stay home to spend more time w/her and the kids and make money is bad, if you didn't have kids I would have thought to myself "tell her to go fuck herself, her loss not yours" but since you have kids i feel really bad for you and have nothing comforting to say.....

man, I feel you. Im in the same sitaution. When I read this I had to create an account to reply. My wife of 4 years and children of two left me a few months ago because I was sttruggling after I lost my decent job. Then during the separation she met a new guy and was dating him and I was crushed. Although she stopped dating him and now we are reconciling, things will never be the same and I want this Internet Marketing to work out for sooo bad just to prove everybody wrong and feel better about my broken heart. Just know everybody has their own situation and we all should be here to help each other and not mislead one another.

wizz - thats a totally different scenario. Your wife has issues if she left you because you lost your job. In this day and age thats just CRAZY. Millions have lost their job and there arent that many others out there so of COURSE you'll struggle. In your situation your wife should be apologising to you and crawling back to you in this case.

When the chips are down you're supposed to stick together not leave and go play with someone else. Thats messed up.

there is no right or wrong, or at least not a one sided right or wrong. takes two for a relationship to work. His wife should have been more opened minded like noob411 said. But on the other hand he should have kept his 9-5 or whatever none IM job he had before.

Either way no point repeating the same shit ppl've said so far, just get a 9-5, approach your wife and apologize, even if you don't think you did anything wrong. Sometimes it takes you further if you take one step back.

Dillusion, I think you are delusional if you think BHW was responsible for destroying your life,especially in 2 months? There's more to this story that you are taking responsibility for. Probably your excessive use of the internet and ignoring your family and responsibilities, and using this as an excuse for consuming all your time.

You need to find some balance.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself, put your family first and crack away at this type of stuff a couple hours a day.

yea it is messed up, and I appreciate your sympathy. I gotta keep it pushing and not give up on my passion for trying to make money online. Hopefully I will find my niche and be apart of something successful.

Do not blame BHW for your faults. It was your decision in the first place to take on the challenge. Stop slitting your wrist get yourself together and stick to one method then start making money. I'm a nooby to all this shit and have no coding background at all and I have made some decent money. Sure I might have fucked up on some PPC campaigns but it hasn't happened again because I learned what I did wrong and figured out how to do it better. So stop spilling yourself on here bud and show your wife and children that you love them, Use the temporary alone time to learn a method till you master it and DO WORK MAKE MONEY

If you have a dream then you need to protect it. Don't let anybody tell you what you can or can't do. You need to believe in yourself first.
It?s only been two months and you are quitting that's not good. You will have to pay your dues before you start making anything. Remember there is a learning curve in every field. Just ask yourself how much work have you done in these two months. I bet you must have spend most of your time in reading various posts here that's what most of the people do and then they say that its not happening for them.

Since you have a family I would suggest that you get a job, bring your wife back and do this part time. Learn as much as you can then apply that knowledge. Do a little everyday. Remember most of the method shared here are already saturated you need to twist them and mix them with other methods to make it work.
Use the logic why would somebody share a method that is making them good money. People only share their techniques when it gets saturated. But the good thing about this forum is that people at least share. In places like DP members make a book about that and sell it.
I can bet there is nobody here who got success in two months, that?s too early. Don't believe those so called Internet marketing gurus who make everything look like a piece of cake. It take's a lot of effort and hard work. We all have paid our dues to reach where we are today.
I know that your wife doesn't believe in your dream right now that's because she doesn?t know the true potential of this field. What is most important is that you believe it and keep working towards your goal. She will believe it when you succeed and would be much more supportive.

You need to be realistic. There is no way you're going to swoop in to IM and make a living in two months.

Well, there isn't. Actually, there might be, but you're not ready for it yet.

For me, it's been a year and a half and I just recently hit the point where I quit my mortgage job and took a part-time gig doing SEO and social media consulting for some local companies.

You've got to take your time, experiment, then experiment some more, then starting building up your online properties.

Go tell your wife you love her and that you can't live without her (if that's the truth), get a job, and work on IM from 10pm - 2am every day.

Set goals for yourself 6 months out, 12 months out, and 18 months out.

Check back in 24 months. If you're getting somewhere, stick with it. If you're not, well stick with the private sector.

i made money man..it was not easy though. I tried many things and failed but I kept trying things and something eventually worked. When you first start you need to put in long hours until you find something that actually starts to make you money. Once you do don't stop and try new things..continue and upscale. Don't give up on IM, but get a new job and take this on as a hobby.

I'm sorry to hear that your wife couldnt "see the light" so to speak. But unfortunately that is still YOUR fault. You did not keep your end of the deal, as far as i'm concerned - you did not effectively communicate to her what you were doing. That is YOUR fault. If something like BHW was able to communicate what IM is to you, there's absolutely no excuse that you couldn't do the same for your wife and kids.

I think you are correct on this one, WADR. This demonstrates that you were already assuming/had the idea in the back of your head, that you weren't going to make it. And that's exactly the reason you didnt make it. You quit, you forced yourself into failure. I have no sympathy for you with that kind of mindset. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as harsh, but I know from personal experience that its necessary to be told like it is, if you are to ever have a chance to make it.

I have a day job and work long hours right now and bh on time off. Me and my wife split in dec. I just try to remember:

wives can be replaced but there is only one internet.

Making money online is quite possible and is not fake. 2 months is understandable for making very little. I didn't make over 300 in one month until about 6 months into marketing. Now I have been marketing for a little over a year now, and make almost $4k a month. It isnt "rich" status, but considering my full time job paid $2600 a month I was able to quite comfortably. Even if you are making decent money 6 months into things, I still don't recommend anyone quitting their real job until they have been marketing for at least a year. By that time they have enough knowledge and experience from trial and errors under their belt. When it comes crunch time you know where to look for a fallback for some extra pickup cash. Also you make connections and business ventures with people, and things start snowballing for the better. I am not sure if you had a job and quit, or maybe you got laid off or what. In my opinion the first choice should have been getting a real life job in the mean time and do marketing on the side. Never let the computer/internet or even the connections you make, interfere with your family. Still set aside time for them so they know they mean more to you than the computer and these people you don't know. Also having and understanding with them that this is your job and its how you pay the bills and support them and her shopping sprees, and that they need to understand that you need devoted time to work.

Get things straight with your family first. Maybe getting a real job in the mean time will show your wife the initiative she needs to see from you. Then slowly work back into internet marketing as you can. Hopefully in 1 year you can quit your job. At that time you need to sit with her and come to an understanding that you need devoted time to work. My wife was the same way, she didn't believe it until she sees it. Now she swipes the debit card or paypal business card and can really feel that this is a real job. Once its proven to them, they will have a whole new outlook on it. But if you aren't making squat in marketing, then your priority may be finding a real job. Use how much you hate that job to drive you harder online, and one day soon you will be able to quit and never look back. I retired at 22

Get a job working a for an Internet Marketing related business, like an email marketing provider, software company, or any internet related business in your area. Then you can poach secrets and get paid to learn this shit for free.
