My wife just left me...

I don't want to offence you, but she is pretty right. When you are posting on a forum your wife just left you, it's time for you to leave the computer and think about your life a bit. Stop thnking about money, she is a bit right. If my wife was comming home ans tell me she is leaving her job to do all time IM, I would really have a talk with her to let her understand that she can't do this. Anyway it's your life, but this thread is a sign that you have an addiction to the computer.

I have been here for 2 months now, do you really think that I'm stupid to the point that anyone would fall for "I urgently need money" posts?

Besides, the methods that you say I was trying to squeeze, are all out there in the forum.

I am not asking for anything, I am just commenting that IM has failed for me, and yes, the first thing I did after the scene that I had earlier with my wife was going into the fridge, grab some beers, and coming back here, because I do spend all day online...

Also, I'd recommend you take a break, and maybe stop reading this forum.

There's a lot of 'fluff' out there, even in this thread itself.

At the same time, nothing is really free, and you need to be commited. Otherwise don't waist my time.

Your biggest mistake wasn't the decision to get into IM, your mistake was that you got all excited and probably told everyone how you're going to make a living out of IM, keep those big dreams for yourself until you actually achieve it. If you're onto something big, then there are always going to be people to stop you from getting what you want.

Now stop feeling sorry for yourself and go apologize to your wife, get a job and then come back here to continue your IM work.
 
Balance my friend. ANYTHING in excess, even something you're working on to better the lives of you and your family... is just that - EXCESSIVE.

Just because you spend 40 sleepless hours in front of the screen reading another ebook or pumping out another auto blog doesnt necessarily mean you're getting more done.

Well focused, concentrated, and relaxed thought could produce the same energy in an hour than tired, frustrated, unfocused thought does in ten.

The validity of your story has come into question by some users, but true or not... I know for a fact that there are husbands, boyfriends, fiances who are under the same pressure from their significan other while they are trying to crack the code.

If shes worth it, go buy some flowers... write a poem, make reservations for dinner - get over there and grovel.

Otherwise, it's time to reassess the relationship as a whole. If she bolted at a time where her support could have made the difference between success and failure... is that really the kind of influence and "better half" you want in your life?
 
Heres some advice, IM isn't for everyone, it can be a hard way to make some cash, its risky but as with anything risky it pays off more.

You played the game and you lost, its probably not for you, get a real job and if you still want to get into IM do it as a hobby.
 
I am not sure how BHW destroyed your life..... I mean you make the choices in your life and that's that!

Also there are so many methods on making money with $0 marketing on CL and other places; I do not believe you only made $20 ...

I can tell you that I was making a decent amount of money online for about 6 months before I quit my day job. I would never just gamble on marketing online without income.

My thoughts:
No Income = Poor morale
Poor Morale = Crappy work
Crappy work = NO PAY!!!

Luck is for losers - Skill is everything!!!

Not trying to sound harsh but a reality check is what you need. Make of it what you wish..
 
Dude i suggest you to get a real work and make IM just a sideline.

You probably right about that, I mean, just because someone wants to be an astronaut, it doesn't mean it is supposed to.

I wanted this for me, I did, I wasn't expecting any quick rich schemes, I just wanted to make some average income online, because I felt this was the life for me, making my living home.

But that doesn't mean this life is supposed to be for me, I mean, it always had that feeling of being to good to be truth, and when things feel that way it normally means that they really are to good to be true.

I agree with amillionaire... save your marriage and find a job, and do this as a hobby on your off time. Nothing is easy and that is why so many people give up. Hang in their and go by the philosophy: Persistence + Passion = Success.

Bro you just don't jump into the middle of the ocean from one day to the next... first you sit by the shore, wet your feet a little bit.., then go in for a short swim, figure out what works and doesn't, swim a little further.. feel the current taking you back.. learn to be careful and survive it, ..then realize if you want to survive when your deep in you need a boat.. then you can jump out from your boat while you are deep at sea.... get a 9-5 again.. then wait till you have your boat.. then go for your deap sea swim. Hope that helps.
 
If thats really true and your wife left you...then there have got to be some deeper issues. Don't turn around and blame all your problems on IM.

I am only one month new to this, and I have made a little money. Only $800 or so, but still, not bad. I'm definitely not quitting work with the thought of 30 minutes per day = $800 per month, so 3 hours per day = $4800/month. As much as I'd love to take that leap, I can't risk it. So I work at my job and do what I can on the side. If I build it into something huge, then great. Until then, I perfect my craft, build a bigger knowledge base, and grind out a little side income.

IM is an amazing thing. Don't give up on it, just realign your priorities in life and try again.

Didn't Michael Jordan shoot a few bricks in his day?
 
Buddy. if you failed , it is on you. I've been over a year doing this and just lately I started making the good $$.
