Howdy!

So I've created this Youtube Channel for gaming highlights with Twitch Clips, I've focus in a game and been uploading videos for a month.

The thing is I've manage to have +250 consistent views a day, one of my videos got 1000+ views and the other one 2000+ views and all the rest 300+.

I always had this dream to make an online game store, and the ideia here its not to monetize my videos with ads but to promote my own store with the thousands of daily views my channel maybe can generate some day.

The game in question died and I've no ideia what to do, If I should upload videos from other game, from a specific or multiple games.


What I've done:
1 - Learned how to edit videos in Sony Vegas Pro
2 - Learned hoe to make HQ thumbnails (GFX packs + self editing)
3 - Learned how to SEO to a certain niche (Looks like it worked)
4 - Learned how Youtube Algorithm rewards a channel for is work

What should I do now:
- Thats the real question, I've no ideia.

Waiting for your feedback to this thread, its really important.

The best you can do is testing with videos in different angles, or different niches, related or not very related, and analyze the stats to see what content the users like. See what seems promising. Test, test, test.

The question is, what kind of content should i publish now?

I mean, there is so many things to explore.
I've identified a really cool niche inside the game with 0 competitors but with a lot of competitores related to the specific game.

Is there any SEO tricks to put my video on top for a few hours?

So:
1- Sony Vegas its about editing the video, watch some youtube tutorials to know how to work.
(Video quality, video size and length above 10min etc)

2- HQ thumbnails with photoshop and GFX packs available for free in youtube.
GFX pack for fortnite for example + text editing, example fortnite font.

3- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) with social blade or vidiq, check the tags that similar videos use and the best ones.

4- Youtube Algotihm gives you a some love when you have an upload schedule, with all videos about same size, length and quality.
Example: videos with 10min, 1080p60fps render on a 2 day upload schedule.
The algorithm will make other videos recomend you video at end, the called recomendations, because its same game, the title its in same niche and all those things.

And thats the basics.

You should definitely use other games for new videos. This is the only way to figure out what works best. Also what do you mean by highlights? Do you use your voice, comments, or just use several clips to create a compilation video?

I make compilations, however I do not monetize my channel its ads.
If I wanted to monetize under "fair use" I needed to had voice commentary and a lot of stuff to be legit.
But I do not want to monetize my videos, just trying to get a consistent growth and in the future promote my gaming store with my own publicity at the video.
