Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posting, but have been an avid reader for quite some time.
Now i want to share my experience in this new journey of mine.
A background: I'm a Web Designer, Developer, Concept Artist, Game Designer and i have an Web Agency. I can do a lot of different stuff that I've studied and learned alone the last 10 years working in my own agency. Money related, I'm making a good amount on my agency, enough to pay all expenses, and provide a comfortable life to my wife and child. But my work as for now, don't provide me with passive income, most of my works and contracts are one timers, so my journey here is aimed to achieve a small passive income, enough to pay the rent at least, so i can worry a little bit less about it, and also have some fun trying to make money in different ways.
What i'm doing right now:
As for now, i have a few personal projects online, some websites with different niches, a few webapps and some mobile games.
The first thing i want to try, is to make one of my websites achieve a good amount of visitors, and earn some with adsense. Later on, i will invest in ads within my mobile games and webapps and if the first website result in a success, will do the same for the others that i have in different niches.

About this website:
- I have done almost no SEO so far. In this website, i offer free stuff that i make myself in my spare time, or that i ended up not using in my projects.
- All hits that i'm having is due to some of posts i've made in forums of the niche talking about it and letting people know that i'm giving away some free stuff.
- Reddit ended up being a good place to share the work, received some good amount of hits from there.
- The website has a small social presence. Only facebook for now, but it's already directing a good amount of visitors when i share new freebies in groups of the site niche.
- I have 1 ad in the home page, which doesn't have too much content as for now, and 2 ads in the inner pages with the second one just below the download button for the freebie.

Let's talk numbers! The website i'm focusing on right now, has the following numbers:
Hits - average of 200/daily.
Ad Hits - 25 last month. (where the daily hits were about 20 to 25)
Earned so far: $15,00 (all period since now)

My Plan of Action:
I'm not thinking about doing anything too aggressive at first. I will continue to produce my freebies at weekly basis, which have prove to result in a good amount of hits, while doing a good SEO for the whole website and freebies pages. I will do some research on keywords that better suits each freebie and it's sub-niche, and try to improve the website rank for them.
I admit that i have little to no knowledge in rank building strategies and such, so any tips are really welcome.
As the website is about something i really like, and i can make original content, i think i have some good resource here to achieve my goal of $40/day.
The posts i have in the website, almost all content is just a few lines of text, image of the freebie and a download link, so it's really lacking content. I will start writing some articles, tutorials and videos to promote my work, while stuffing more words in the website.
It has very little content, but i think it already have some good number of hits per day.
That's it guys. Don't really know if it will be of interest to someone, but it will be a good experience for me, learning while trying to get to my goal and doing something that i'm really passionate about.
