Hello, Dear friend! Last year ago I learnt programming android apps and making games. I already have one app in a play market. I spent 6 moths doing it, lots of sleepless nights....Mmmm, that was awesome. Actually, It was hard for me, but interesting. I wanted to give up many times, but thanks to other enthusiasts and my teacher, I made my way through it. I thought that once I will post it in a play market I will earn thousands$$)))) How stupid that was.
Soooo, what are real numbers? I have about 200 downloads and over all time I earned $1.27. How said my friend: "It's okay! Elon Musk started the same".
What's next? Few months ago I started making new app. I want to get it done and also I want to advertise it using google adwords and probably some other services. I am really waiting for new experience.

I have not used any ads for the old game. For new game I will test google adwords traffic. Do you know any other effective ways of advertising app?

I have tried Google AdWords, and that's powerful to increase app download
 
Do you track how much time your app is used?
Based on that you need to try AdMob interstitial ads that are not going to get your users to delete your app because of that sometimes only one ad is enough.

Yes, this is the thing I use. I don't show small banner in the bottom to my users. I think it pointless. Actually, old game is really bugged and I need to fix it. I have to much deletes because of this
 
Good luck on your journey. Did you really have to do everything yourself in your first app, including the sprites and backgrounds? That sounds onerous.
 
More than $10 000/month and it's not unicorn! I know many indie devs who are making even much more, good luck!

Yeah, I designed pretty much everything. That's why it took me so long. But now I can work with photoshop and illustrator. So, I think it was a great expereience. But in future, I think that I would need to delegate this to proffessionals)

No. Actually I hear about this for the first time. I used libgdx library to make my game. I would certainly look at this thing in the internet! Thank you)
 
Try Adwords and also some ad publisher sites relevant to your work and ask them to past your add , have a deal of some percentage .Make to publish your add maximum which are relevant and having high traffic which makes the chance of reaching your ad to more people.
 
Okay. What is my next game about? It is going to be a quiz game where a person is given one question and four different answers and he or she should choose the right question. Firstly, I will make this game for Russian market, but if the game will be good - I am also going to transfer this game to European and US countries.
For each right answer people will get some points which will help them in future questions. Also one of the special things of my game will be an oppotrunity for people to add their own questions. All questions will be on the server and person would not need to update game for new questions, they will be updated every time person connects to the internet. For this time I need to find 300 interesting questions and fix certain things.

$100 a month ? I have good developers charging that much per hour or more. I hope you become one of them.
