Micro Blogging: Free blogspot blog or self hosted blog?

I would like to create multiple micro blogs, work on their SEO and hopefully make money through adsense from them. I'm trying to make my investment as minimal as possible which brings me to the crossroad. Does it make sense to go with free blogger blogs or I should just go all in with self hosted blogs? Will using free blogger blogs affect my SEO negatively?

You'll find yourself a bit limited on most free platforms. They're great to get your feet wet and to learn. Ultimately I would use them to funnel traffic into a paid hosting platform in which your own and control.

If you opt fot blogspot, buy a custom domain. You should have a good theme too. If it doesn't fit, go with self hosted.
