Let us know how it goes!

The only thing I see that I can profit immediately from this thread is I could translate English to Thai/Chinese for $1 a Pop.

Sounds good

Well... It's not dangerous at all. It's just like any other business venture. You must put in a lot of energy if you want something out. Usually if something sounds better than this, it's just a fairytale.

You know what's good in being a performance marketer? Results are nearly instant, you work with cold hard data(unlike seo, which is full of thing that's impossible to prove), you don't have to churn out a lot of nonsense content. Things moves fast, it's always challenging, and you can learn a whole new skillset that you can use for other things.

Very well said, you described exactly what I like about this line of business. Ultimately all marketing is about performance: providing liquidity to the market, hard numbers and most importantly, getting results.

Marketing isn't some artsy magic, it's hard analytical science.

If you provide value to the market, the market will reward you. If you don't provide any value, the market punishes you.

This is a simple concept that all of human economy is based on and marketing is about mastering this concept and finding inconsistencies in the market you can solve and get rewarded for. Real creativity is knowing how to find these inconsistencies and knowing how to solve them.

Performance marketing allows you to work as close to this core concept as possible. Is it easy work? Not really, but thinking that getting further away from this analytical core by doing "creative stuff" like freelance writing, seo etc would be easier, is a mere illusion. Because all of that stuff is based on this same concept, the difference is just that it is much harder or even impossible to measure and keep track of the value of your work.

The great thing is that when you finally have tackled this concept and truly understand it, any other business endeavor you choose to do, whether in the IM world or outside of it, will be much easier, because you actually understand why you are making money

hi,

I started to read about CPA few days ago ... I'm signed on popads and mobidea ... I like mobidea because they pay daily + they have opportunities sections + they have free tracker

I played today with mobidea offers and popads traffic. I configured this, used data from opportunities section ... if you can tell me am I doing this in right way?

I didn't start this campaign ... because I realized that adult works best with banners, sweepstakes with landing pages and nutra works best with native. So in future I'll be focused on tier 2-3 countries, antivirus or games/app installs (I think that will work good without my landing pages), buying traffic from cheap countries and I'll search only for offers with simple visitor action and good conversion rate. Also I watched one webinar and guy said that popunder mobile traffic works best with antivirus and app install offers. I think that game offers are also good. Also, I'll choose offers with good EPC variation (mobidea has that option, that is difference between EPC last 7 days and 7 days before that 7 days :D

If you just can tell me is this right way to target campaign?

I would start bidding at the minimum 0.0001 to see what traffic comes (often PopAds data isn't correct about the bidding).

Something to remember is that you don't know what traffic source/what placement other people are using for offers that are successful. I would probably run 2-3 offers on rotation for the same carrier to see what traction you are able to get on them.

that's currently my biggest problem ... when I start with antivirus/app install I hope there's no other placement than popunder :D ... than will be just one problem and that is to find good popunder traffic source ... but I think that popads is good also if you target a lot ... I think that there's no bots in thailand's AIS carrier for 3-4 android versions and 3-4 browsers :D

ofc I will start 3-4 antivirus campaigns to see which one converts better

BUT

all of this I wrote has to wait few weeks because I don't have money to invest haha

I wouldn't recommend throttling for beginners, when you start off you can adjust impressions/hour by just playing around with your bid

yeah I realized that can be risky, no more throttling haha

I'm also thinking about promoting mobile game offers on facebook, maybe antivirus offers but idk is that good for facebook terms ... lot of them recommends facebook as good traffic source for cpa, without any popups ... any suggestions?

You will get banned. AV only works with aggressive pages.

why it shoud be considered as spam? I'll promote ads by rules
