Yes, I will add that you need to work your ass off at least 3-4hours per day, every day in order to make it happen. I was able to breakeven and make some inconsistent profit (one day making 15-20 dollars, other days losing or having the traffic dried up because competition has outbidded me). It is a rollercoaster.

Variance and inconsistency is what makes people abandon pops, they think they will just hit that profitable campaign and make a living for several months or even a year. If your offer lasts for several weeks you should consider yourself lucky.


I know it is possible to make money in this, I can't forget those days when I was making progress and getting close to the profitable campaign. I don't know how many campaigns I need to launch more to hit that unicorn, maybe 1, 2, 3 or more even more.

Tip: Test the offer landing pages yourself using a VPN etc.., also check if the offer has several redirects. The more redirects, the slowest the page. Avoid these offers. Here is a link to test the offer lander: http://www.redirect-checker.org/

Bro, I have a query, that is , I would like to know that how much I have to spend for following your method? Because :

1) I dont have a website and affiliate.
2) I have no idea about niches.
3) I have no idea about SEO.
4) I dont have a good domain
5) I also have no idea about keywords etc.

Hence I am asking that what do I have to do to get started?
And MAIN thing which I wanna know is that how much approx can I make per day/month from this? Just to let you know that I have all the time in the world. I can give my entire day behind working on this.

So, can you help me out?

Domains are as low as $0.88 cents at Namecheap. Their hosting starts at about $10 for the first year for their most basic plan.
-Or-
You can buy one of those cheap $0.88 cent domains and find a free hosting provider that allows their usage (doesn't require an upgrade to use on their platform) like 000webhost (and obviously until you're rolling enough to get a VPS).
 
Speed is key when running pops.

If you use shared hosting or a VPS outside the geo you're running the campaign in, then you are going to lose a ton of clicks because the mobile user will be able to close the popup before it loads. You need the lander to load as quickly as possible (within 2 secs).
 
Does this pop-up method, i.e. running anti-virus offers on pop traffic require cloaking all these popup ad-networks?

Or most of the popup networks allow any kind of aggressive pop-ups? I doubt they would let you run any random shit. Like the OP said with PureLander he uses a lot of javascript alerts / buzzing for mobile / and what not! So do all ad-networks allow that?

Magic Checker works well as it protects your campaigns against spy tools also. It was developed by some of the top mobile pop affiliates.

I would play around with pops first, then you will know if you can make money out of it + you need a cloaking tool.
 
Is pop up only good for porn or any other particular topic.

Ok I understand.

I wanted to get some insights on how to avoid getting your accounts banned while you are cloaking. Like what kind of things to follow while accessing your ad-accounts, as in what kind of residential proxies to use or use some sort of virtual machine or some environment like multiloginapp.

And what payment methods to use, as in how to get multiple credit cards?
 
I mean the accounts that you create on these pop up networks like PopAds / PopCash / etc. So if you are cloaking and if at all they find out you are cloaking, they would ban you right?

So I am asking how to avoid getting banned from these popup networks.
 
If you get found out, you just get a slap on the wrist. Running aggressive landers is not the same as doing something illegal.

LOL, this is not adwords or facebook where you get fucked for literally anything :D To be honest you can get away with a lot without cloaking...

There are 2 types of offers:
a, the one that you can run straight away after getting accepted
b, the one where you have to send your creatives to your AM, who sends them to the advertiser, and will exactly tell you what you can and what you can't do.

If you are working with the first type of offers, it can happen that the advertiser doesn't like what you are doing and you get kicked out of the offer. That's sad if you just reached a positive roi, but no biggie.

To my experience, traffic networks don't give a flying fuck about you unless you try to run drive-by download malwares or other SUPER ILLEGAL stuff.


I've put trademarked logos of several local companies on my landers. Never had any problem with the traffic sources. Once I got a C&D letter tho, because I forget to switch on whois privacy on my domain and I was an easy target.. Shut that domain down, no problem since.
