I have not used the "Invitation" option till now.This is a ‘stupid simple’ method to grow your Facebook group by sending invites and reminders to your Facebook page fans.
Reach on Facebook pages is bad since FB is giving a lot of ‘weight’ on posts from family, friends and Facebook groups. So the next logical step of leveraging the page fans is to create a FB group and invite those fans to join.
This is what happened when I started to do this daily. It takes me 2min per day.
I probably don’t have to explain the benefits of having a group and building an audience to promote all kinds of offers for FREE.
Step-By-Step:
1. If you don’t have a Facebook group (Why?!) - Create one and connect with your Facebook page.
2. Once you link the group to your page, you will see on the right side a list of people to invite.
3. Start inviting them daily, as many as there are shown.
4. After 3-5 days you should start sending reminders - FB sents another invite notification.
To remind them go to ‘Members - Invited’. You will see the whole list of people you already invited. You can send a reminder manually by clicking on 3 dots + Send Reminder.
To automate this process I use a Chrome extension called ‘Send reminder to group invites for Facebook™’. I’m in NO WAY associated or affiliated with them. Before using any tool always do your due diligence!
Here is how to set up this tool. You should skip at least 30-50 people to not remind them too fast.
