Exactly, with some site you really have to be careful to get past manual reviews and with some sites (Buzzfeed Especially) it's almost impossible these days!
Some of the directory sites are better and I've had good success ranking good forum posts especially if you get a bit of a discussion going on within the thread.

It depends on the niche but no reason why not IMHO.
When you say WordPress you mean wordpress.com right?

The niche is of Mid comp the first guy is ranking with 50K links as shown on ahrefs.
and my site url is like this: nichename.wordpress.com

Nothing wrong with that method, plenty of people pass their link juice through a 301 so it can be used again and again.

thanks for thread. Since Parasite get deleted fast. I am also thinking about 301. Here my question is
let say i bought very good domain, like DA 40+ and site have good baclinks and aged., but not relevant to my niche. should i build link to this domain then 301. or power pass and parasite will rank.?

This tutorial works best when you use a domain from a huge company (Like YouTube)
I wouldn't bother using my own domains for this, it works (I've tried) but it's not worth spending money on PR3 + domains to do it with.
It's cheaper to use someone elses stuff!

I have been reading lately that YouTube video ranking has gotten pretty hard unless it's in a low competition niche.
Perhaps try another type of parasite? Local business directory or a blog site?

It's fine to mix up different techniques, as long as you understand what your doing and why it will work.

do think , "The waiting period applies to new parasite pages too"
