[Method] Banking Over $4,000/month - Sneaky 7 Step Offline Method

Thanks for the method.

Can I know how you position yourself?

Do you tell them you are a consultant from certain company?

And how you dress up when you meet them?

You want to wear your best blue jeans and v-neck shirt lol

I see. So you don't worry about your reputation? Some people seem to say that B2B leads are #1 and I can imagine that if your work has mixed results, that could potentially have an effect on your ability to get clients in the future.
That being said, there are plenty of fish in the sea, and I'm sure you do your best regardless - failing is just a natural result of trying, since, statistically, you will fail if you're working with enough people.
I'm just rambling to myself now...
I appreciate your response!

I make it quite clear to the clients that there is no guarantee that their site will be ranked. That is why I offer a 60 day money back guarantee. Doing it this way, I have not had a single disgruntled client yet. Even if their site doesn't rank on the first page, it does improve quite a bit in rankings and gets more traffic. Moreover, they get their money back.

Thanks for the method.

I'm not sure if this'll help you but I just state things as they are. I tell them who I am and what my firm does. As for the attire, don't worry too much. Just wear whatever is the norm in your area :)

This to me seems slightly risky and complicated. Say I go through a niche in four different cities, get a total of 16 clients.

Of those clients, only five rank on the first page.

That is 11 clients who I have to refund the money to.

Not only do I lose money spent on trying to rank clients sites that do not make it, but I also have to have the $ to be able to refund them. What I mean is that I cannot do anything with the profits until after 60 days, so I cannot re-invest anything for at least two months.

I do love the method and it seems very easy, but as I have pointed out, could also turn out badly, no?

I like the method, gotta agree that selling it is the hard part for those of us who dread cold calling - especially in crowded SEO markets where everyone is hitting up the same people.

Well, what am doing is little different from OP's method, I created my own site ,do SEO work and try to push them onto top 10, then i will contact local business owner and rent my site to them . Right now my site is sit on the second page, just need more work on it.

This is the variation I'm going with currently, except I silo the site so I net other smaller keywords and thus have more to show prospective clients. Have had no problems ranking it without NAP.

This is just what I needed. Quite frankly, there's no excuse not to make money out of this system.
If I had issues cold calling, I would fire an e-mail announcing I've popped a letter in the post and will call back for further discussions.
My letter will start with Intro, FAQ and close with list of their competitors. Basically just all our conversation would be if we had it over the phone.
Might be lucky and have them call. Just might.

awesome method man thanks a ton for sharing this! I feel that these people wont have alot of trouble having SEO explained to them either Im definitely gonna give this a try right now!

Pretty old and decent way of doing business with Local companies.

Nice method you have put into place. Sounds like you have really thought this through. I would be interested in knowing if anyone else on here has tested this method out and what sort of response you have gotten from it.

There are two parts in your post. Here's my take on them:

1. About Losing Money

There's no escaping the fact that there's no guarantee when it comes to ranking websites. That is why you have to factor in cases where you'll do the SEO work (spend time/money) and it'll come to nothing.

Depending on how much time/money you spend on one website and on your success rate, you'll have to price your service to factor in the cases where you'll have to refund the money (and lose the time/money you spent for those prospects).

For example, if your success rate is 20% i.e, you can successfully rank 1 site out of 10, then your pricing needs to be on the lines of (5 * cost/job) + Profit Margin.

2. Money Being Blocked for 60 Days

I don't give a guarantee that the site will be on the first page after 60 days.

I give a guarantee that the site will be on the first page some day within the first 60 days.

The day the site reaches the first page, I get in touch with the concerned client, show him the results and get his sign on a 'Service Delivered' form. This could be anytime within the first 60 days.

Once this is done, the transaction is complete and I have delivered what I promised. After this point, I'm not obligated to return the money to the client at all.

I hope I have addressed your questions adequately :)

quick question, I ran a quick search for dentists in (my town) and a lot of first page results are of yelp or yellowpages. Now these are big websites but SEOQuake has "PR n/a" next to a lot of them. Are these kind of sites easy to kick out of the top page?

This is really really cool. Just one question I have though. Since Google has changed its algorithm to already be local based, wouldnt the process of building links not be as applicable anymore? What sort of ranking method would you recommend we do now? I know citations work well but they take oh so very long to do haha.

Yes, it's easy to knock these pages off. These show up at the top only because Google can't find any relevant sites. In fact, this is one of the things I look for.

Link building is just as relevant today as it has ever been. The process/sources/methods might have changed but backlinks continue to be one of the most important parameters that Google takes into consideration while ranking sites (at least I think so)

The service delivered form is a great idea, I've never thought of it and I probably would've been able to collect more easily if I did. Big thanks!
However, I'd like to ask how you send it, is it paper or digital? Do you drop it off and pick it up, mail and have it mailed back or what? Thanks!

I get it done in person - always. Either I go there personally or get an employee to do this. The thing is that once both you (or your representative) and your client can see the result, there's no reason why the client won't agree to sign the 'service delivered form'.

If you mail it, there will always be reasons for delay. Remember, people (especially those who have to consider cash flow) will always try to delay payments as much as they can. It's your job to make that part as hard as possible :)
