Hello Everyone,
Thank again for all the support, Thanks, Rep, and comments in general. It is all appreciated and it tells me that I am on the right path. I'm doing this all for the BHW community, so the more I hear from all of you, the better I can make this experiment!
First I'll do an update and then I will address comments and questions.
UPDATE:
So lots going on here. This next week should be pretty exciting I think. First with backlink counts. YSE continues to blow up. As of right now I am at 13,485 links in Yahoo. This number is growing by 1-2,000 everyday now and should for a while. This weekend will mark the beginning of another huge linking binge that I will talk about in a second.
Google still isn't showing a link count in Webmaster Tools so I will hold off on updating Google links till I have a reliable source of information. According to GWT I am showing up for 64 keywords, though I know that count is actually higher now as I have seen traffic come from keywords not on that list.
Just ran Rank Checker on my secondary keywords and saw broad improvements across the board. All keywords are up, new ones are now in the top 200. Some of my biggest jumps were from 180 to 32, 144 to 12, and 156 to 16. Incredible jumps. Yahoo has two new first pagers as well.
Late last night I received new content! Several articles that I will drip feed over the next two week or so. I needed this badly to expand this experiment. I am already going to order more content from my writer. I will post again later tonight or tomorrow when I actually put this next phase into action. It will consist of the content updates and a new linking binge. Stay tuned!
And now for questions and comments:
Are you afraid of losing your adsense account with this method? They can be so fussy... I am not sure whether they look at where the links are coming from or just the page itself, whether it's spammy or not.
I am not afraid at all. I am completely within the TOS. I am displaying original content, Ad placement is inside the TOS. As another poster said, Google can deindex me, but Adsense won't do anything.
did u harvest this huge blog linklist or u purchased AA lists from BHW or smwhere else ??
My lists are a combination of harvesting, purchasing, and trading. Probably 70/20/10 in that order.
Nice experiment and share, thank you. It's fun just blasting away, feels soo good
Maybe a XRumer version of this would be nice too, if it hasn't been done yet.
Cheers
That is a great idea, and I do own Xrumer. I have some other things boiling for all of you, but this might move up the list.
Great thread man. Keep it going.
I have a couple of questions:
1. How many pages do you have in Google index right now?
2. Do you post to blogs somehow relevant to your keywords (i.e. blogs scraped using your keywords) or just to all blogs available?
Thank you!
1. Right now I only have 6 pages index. This is only because of a lack of content. That will be improved this weekend. I will start to following page indexing as I have more content to report on.
2. I am blasting at all blogs. My only paramentor is that they are an AA blog. That is it. I am using general usage lists that I have built and continue to build. I add 1-3,000 new targets a day on average.
Hi again,
1.- How do you generate the list for lnks2rss? Do you run a scrapebox Link checker session AFTER the blast (to check which ones went live), or do you just assume that since you are using all AA blogs your exported Posted-OK list is enough to consider them as live links?
2.- Can you describe step by step the method for RSS submission you used here?
3.- Squid proxies: Can you tell us the average latency (in ms) for these proxies? or just their min and max access time
4.- One thing that brings me the ilussion that ive earned tenths of new backlink is the Recent Post widget of blogs. ie Recently posted to a classified ads blog and I got my link spread all over their 100ths of pages. YSE crawls them as valid backlinks, however we know these are no real bls and I dont even have 1 comment approved there. How to filter this recent-post widget results from YSE to have a more realistic notion of your site's backlinks count?
Thanks!
1. So when using links2rss (which I only did at the beginning to accelerated indexing of the site) I used SB to verify the links, then I put those in to links2rss. I then uploaded the XML files generated to a separate domain that I use for email, testing, and such and pinged all the files with pingfarm.com.
2. My RSS submission was pretty weak honestly. I invested about 5 minutes in it do to the lack of content. I simply went to Google, searched 'RSS Submission' or something similar, and added my RSS feed to several sites. I might do more now that I have more content, but probably not.
3. For latency of proxies, I just ran a test for this post. They average between 300-400ms. So pretty good. I have not had any issues with them so far and will continue to use them.
4. I don't know if I truly understand your question, but I will take a shot at it. If I miss the target, please just re-ask and I will do my best.
Right now I am not doing anything to scrub my back links. I am literally creating them by the tens of thousands. This open experiment is really about examining the 'shotgun' approach to link building. Can I win with an onslaught of links? So to answer your question (I think

), am I filtering any of my links, no, I am not. Again, I am so damn busy just building them, that I am not assessing them for value, because this isn't about value, its about volume.
Thanks again everyone. I hope I answered your questions! Keep them coming. I am doing my best to update at least once a day. I will have a LOT more coming tonight (PST) or tomorrow.
As always, post your questions and comments. They are truly welcome.
