I see so many people are making money with a Shopify store dropshipping from Aliexpress and then using Facebook Ads to scale up. Can anyone explain how this works? Like a step by step?

1-Register a website on shopify. 2-list some items from ali express for higher price on your store. 3- Advertise your website on fb, instragram, etc. 4- When someone buys the item from your store, you purchase it using your card and ship the item to their location. 5-Profit. If you need someone to build you a highly converting website, pm me. I can help you with that.

@Rob Rouse Jr First you need to identify and test a niche. It can be a niche related to a drama/ movie/ events or whatever. And then build your site revolving around this niche.

Next setup your terms of service/ shipping/ payment/refunds,etc. Make sure this is clearly laid out. Alot of buyers will ask you stupid questions such as I don't like this can I return?

After this, look for a reliable seller on Aliexpress to supply your product. Make sure you look at repeat purchase and not blindly on reviews.

Advertise your product using Facebook ads through fanpage targeting the niche.

Remember dropshipping is ALOT of work. And damn hardwork. Especially when you are researching for products that sell and dealing with customer service.

What do you guys do about invoices though. Like do people on aliexpress not send invoices? I'm curious about doing dropshipping on a Facebook shop section, but dont want to end up getting caught by buyers selling them items listed somewhere else at a low price

As I understood, people using shopify + dropshipping act like this :

1) They set up a store, make some fb ads to promote it.
2) Once buyers placed an order, you get notified
3) At your turn, with that money you order from an aliexpress' supplier for the same product that the buyer want.
4) You received it at your home
5) You ship the product to the buyer

Is this correct ? Or do the supplier from aliexpress ship it directly at buyer's home ?

thanks

Great anwser!
But probably find a supplier before doing anything else because it's possible they don't sell that product on aliexpress. Aswell you don't have to build a store around a niche. You can make a general store and just advertise whatever prosucts you find interesting.

no you just ship it to the buyer directly lol, you would lose time+money with your 4./5.

One thing, you will need make customers feeling confidence in your website. Try Ryviu app for import product reviews (customer feedback) from aliexpress to your shopify. Hope this help :)
