...could be anything really!
Maybe go through your backlinks and disavow dodgy ones?
Search Google fof that October Update to find out what could be penalising your website I guess, then go from there.....
Rankings can be extremely volatile when an update is rolled out unfortunately

Check those backlinks and find out if you have lost backlinks lately. It can also be other things like content, site related, etc
