Any favorite tools for SEOers in this niche? As someone who loves mac I use Market Samurai a lot but it has its limitations.

What are your favourite tools for keyword research, location modifiers & rank/competition checking..

Is SEO powersuite one worth checking?

I don't see why the Google KY tool and a phone book aren't enough to generate ideas for Google Places. It's a whole different ball game than traditional organic rankings in Google.

it's OK generating ideas but having similar analytic tools to regular organic seo software - powersuite told me analyzing local data was a lot more difficult for them
