Hello Guys,

I am looking to open stripe account for my e-commerce business. But i am in hurry. So when i asked an agent for LLC he told me that he can open and do paperwork for 1 business day but EIN need to wait up to 3 months, which is required for opening mercury or payoneer bank account.

Does anyone have other faster solution, what about UK LTD. Please share me your experience and recommendation for agents!?

An EIN takes minutes, not months.

You got the wrong guy there.

They told me, since i am not United States citizen and don't have SSN it should take up to 3 months.
I have like 12 EINs and it is a 5 minute process.

It might take a couple of days to be issued but I still think you are dealing with the wrong person.

I think, Stripe.com/Atlas can probably give you better service.

Sadly, as of last year they changed it a little bit.

" Daily Limitation of an Employer Identification Number "
Effective May 21, 2012, to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all taxpayers, the Internal Revenue Service will limit Employer Identification Number (EIN) issuance to one per responsible party per day. This limitation is applicable to all requests for EINs whether online or by fax or mail.

@Huncho Also, I believe the IRS has a phone line that you can call up for an international EIN.

I'm not a responsible person.

Hogwash! I've seen you handle some of those volatile shitlist threads. You've more self-control in those situations than I could have.

@OldSalt was kind enough to leave a pathway as to how to handle them and @Zwielicht was kind enough to write up a process.

I'm merely a drone there as I have their history, knowledge, and direction as to how to help there.

I haven’t even seen him on the forum in awhile or spoke to him in quite some time. Hope he’s well.

Regardless of how the material was obtained, 12 years of helping a forum out isn’t anything to sneeze at.

Though, over the years the guides being posted in regards to the forum are helpful for newer members and even some seasoned members, as I recall.

Same link i was gonna share for LLC.

For the LTD, you need a business and trading address and a Uk phone number to form an LTD in the UK. LTD would take 1-2 days to form. But making a business bank account that would take time.

But since you want a stripe for your business, you can create an account with the LTD and attach your personal Payoneer account with that. And it would be fine.

Where you able to get an EIN quickly? I used incfile and they told me I have to wait 3 months as well to get an EIN because I'm a foreign

That does not mean they issue 1 EIN per day nationally. That would kill business in the country and just be insane.

It's "one PER responsible party per day"

Not "One EIN to a responsible party per day".

That means, one responsible party can only request 1 EIN. Ie, 1 party cannot request 5000 EINs per day.

I have several EINs, all of them from after 2012 and they don't that long. Generally 2 weeks to 6 weeks. 3 months is a push.

My response was a direct, unedited quote from a government website. I can’t find where I said you can have more than one EIN issued to you per day?

Is there a cap on how many one responsible party can have?

I know, but from the wording it looks like it's saying

"Each person applying for an EIN can only apply for one per day"

Ie, your corporate services company can only apply for 1 per day per staff member they have applying.

UK LLP is better than a LTD. But you'll need a partner, even if he/she's a namesake. Even a company you registered locally in your country can act as your partner.

can you explain why ?
Sure. A UK LLP is tax neutral and pass-through entity. That means the business has no tax burden as an entity. The profit gets passed on to the partners and they're liable for taxes. When you're a non resident alien in UK you don't have to pay taxes there. Even UK LTD is possible but there's a little extra step when it comes to compliance as you'll have to opt to pay taxes to UK or in your home country. With LLP, it's simple.
With US LLC you can't open a paypal account because you need ITIN for that but you can straightaway open a paypal account with a UK company.
