Hey guys,
I've been trying to sort this out and get a handle on it for the past month or so and haven't been successful, so I bring my issue here for suggestions.
I have a blog on my eCommerce site and the blog articles are cannibalizing my collection pages which I want to rank. I've tried changing the title, the url name, the keywords several times and have pointed internal links to my collection. No go. Google wants these articles ranked and not my collection pages.
Should my next step be to 301 the blog articles to my collection pages. If I do this and that blog post now no longer exists, can I reuse that blog article on my collection page. (I know google likes it so why not reuse it if I can)
Thoughts? I'm shooting blind here.
Any useful suggestions would be appreciated.
